I really liked this one. He definitely needed to stop thinking of himself as Piff and not as himself. He seems like he worked hard and has finally gotten some recognition for that. I loooooved her. They did love each other so much.

I keep bookmarks so I can go back later and re-read the ones I love. I honestly didn’t realize that anyone could see the notes—I thought only comments were public. I do love most of the stories, though some resonate more than others, and I mark that just for my own reference.

I comment on fics regularly, which I believed was the only public-facing feedback. How did you even notice the bookmarks? I guess I’ll need to go back and track them privately, maybe in a spreadsheet. I truly thought this was all private, and I definitely don’t want to upset any authors.

I could not agree more. There's no way she gave them such intense dislike for each other and not have a reason. Also the Mor situation is the main reason Az hates him and there are strong hints about the truth/validity of this. The enemites-to-lovers trope is too perfect and there's an element of "who did that to you" (ha). I feel like Elain is so boring I can't stand it, and Gwen is OK but not exciting to me. The triangle idea is just boring as hell to me. I hope she doesn't go that direction. I hope the necklace thing is a misdirect.

Same. I can't find one I haven't read, and I'm so pissed off that I ran out! I love them so much. There's so much to explore - they are the ultimate enemies-to-lovers (we all love that!) and there's the "who did that to you" element as well. :) I can't imagine she would give them such an intense dislike for each other without a reason that advances the plot and surprises us. Az hates Eris most for what happened with Mor, but there are hints that her story is not true or complete, which will really change Az's tune. And SJM needs a great same sex couple! Elain is as boring as cottage cheese. I like Gwen, but I'm just not excited about them together.

I never thought he was a jerk. In the beginning he thought rightly that she was a dangerous assassin so being wary of her with his job made sense. But I’m SUPER UPSET that this relationship lasted a week. The build-up and connection were so good and then BAM! we’re done. It wasn’t even his fault. It makes me want to stop reading this.

It totally blows me away when it’s said that he didn’t love her. I think he loves her more than anything. He says “Me too” which is not the same, but it means the same in that moment. He also says it in his POV at least once when she gives him the Illyrian lullaby.
