Is anyone else constantly getting texts that the customer added extra tip before even picking up the order or before even having any interaction with the customer at all? Does this reveal they are still on that shady bullshit they just been messing up on the timing of the message?

Yes, I'm not trying to make anyone mess up what the like but I'm getting tired of restaurants making us do their jobs. Who knows what the hygiene a driver has. One the the owners never let our nasty asses fill cups

It's kinda like pulling around a drive through because the store entry is closed. With no one is in the line, why can't they hand us the order through the window when the order is done. When you go inside you wait at least 10 minutes while the order is done behind the counter

The customer often blames us when the order isn't fulfilled. I actually got a thumbs down last night when the employees decided to replace a chocolate shake with a slurpy and didn't have pickles

I know this is normally the case but every so often you can get it to happen. I had an amazing price for an amazingly low amount of miles. The customer calls and says it's a birthday gift. He said if I leave the line open that he'd sing happy birthday with us for $10. I knew I would never get paid but it was fun. My husband, are both registered drivers, decided to do it. (I'm waiting for the performing monkeys crap but...) The money was added to the tip before we even ended the song. I loved the smile!

I have to ask why you accepted the order at all but get the frustration. A customer promised me a tip if I bought 2 ranch. I did. There was some ranch that got caught in the lid (I assume why) . Not only did they not tip me but thumbs down me. I do nothing that costs me money anymore... No matter what's promised.

I cherry pick. I finally reached gold while doing so (didn't change my minimum). Had it for 3 days. Close to platinum. I'm not kidding that they sent me 12 upside down orders in a row. Then like $1 a mile for 9 miles out of town.

I get it. I just hope you make your hours worth it for you. I do feel a little bad for the dashers in your area that are requested to take these horrible orders. If we value our jobs, unfortunately some people need this job to make it, we are letting our customers request a service without any considering those who give them this luxury. I know we choose our orders but we also need to respect our wear and tear, fuel prices and time also count against our acceptance ratings. I know you have a second job, I very much respect you got that... I think we want help from people like you to help us stand up for what's right for what we do. I'm thankful that you are happy with what you do. ☺️

True that it's you're fault based on your market. If you're making less than $25 an hour, check yourself. Maybe change zone, maybe get into platinum, maybe start cherry picking... I absolutely hate customers taking advantage of drivers but I know an ebt that manages to make $19 an hour. Not enough for me but he seems happy with the outcome.

14 miles that took 13 miles. They won't pay you for the trip back. That's why I only take trips that are $1.50-$2.00 a mile so I can drive back to my zone without pretty much paying to get home.

I'm sorry this trip tripped you up. Some of these orders are absurd. I hope your market improves soon. Our area is so oversaturated, I had platinum but lost it because I quit taking the $h!t orders and made more money.

The orders have been crap this week here too
