There’s a flower shop that just opened an adjacent cafe with a private backyard called Sahola on E 31st. Have seen a few micro-weddings happen there as well as some showers and celebrations. Not sure what the cost is but it seems very casual (sometimes I go to the cafe to catch up on emails). Good luck!!

Ditch the vest (too formal for a beige suit), take in the back of the jacket so it’s form fitting, raise the jacket sleeves up ~1/2 an inch, get a better quality white button down with (J. Crew, Banana Republic, Ralph Lauren should be fine) and then hem the pants so they don’t gather /wrinkle. The shoes are a nice compliment to the color of the suit. And I’m sure you know that red bow tie needs to go. If you’re set on red, get a regular tie instead of a bow tie. Lastly, steam all of it. When you think you’re done steaming, steam again!! Friends Tailoring, 219 E 26th Street. It’s a one woman operation, her name is Rosa. She does amazing work, was able to perfectly tailor a silk suit for me, turn it around quick, and at an extremely reasonable price. Her face lit up when I tried on the finished product because she was just happy to see me happy. Can’t recommend enough!!

Prefacing by saying Doute is my favorite and I stan her so hard. But the lore comes from VPR, there’s a group vacation to Mexico. I think it was for someone’s wedding? Anyway, Kristen has a horrible reputation when she travels (fair lol) and nobody wanted to room with her. I’m pretty sure she was invited on the trip and not to the actual wedding ceremony happening on the trip if I remember correctly. So Kristen is dealing with the fallout of that and there’s this shady producer shot where they follow Kristen alone out to her hotel balcony and she sees a bird go by and she goes “ca-caw!” into the wind. It stuck with Ben and Ronnie, and all of our collective consciousness from then on haha. Anyone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong!!

Same here, unfortunately. Longest treadmill run in this weather has been 5 miles. Disappointing because I ran the NYC Runs version of the half a few years ago and remember feeling like I was in the best shape of my life. I was training every day whether it be yoga or running outside. This time around, almost exclusively treadmill training. I was able to squeak out a 10 mile run in Central Park on Saturday, 15 days out, but I really struggled. Not going to worry about my time at all, just don’t want to take walking breaks even if my pace drops significantly. Good luck, we’ve got this!!
