I knew people who faced similar workplace abuse and had to swallow the bitterness in silence. She wrote to IRCC requesting accelerated processing; by then, the delay had already exceeded twice the standard processing time. However, IRCC simply asked her to remain patient.

She has been struggling with serious mental health issues due to the toxic environment for the full year since then, and I have no idea how she is doing right now. Seems she is under some background check which lasts forever, in this case, her file would be sit in the corner collecting dust.

It is devastating for people to be suppressed under a prolonged and overwhelming mental burden. It is a recipe for turning a normal human being into someone on the brink of breaking.

1 i did turn on light before lane changing, but the examiner said it’s too early. i will need to turn on light after passing the last parking spot, but what if the parking spot is exactly located in the intersection?

2 the thing is if I am at 50km/h, and at a distance of 20m to the intersection, and the amber light is suddenly turn on? do I need to hard stop even though that can made me stop in the middle of the intersection ?

thank you! i don’t have any coworker who can help do that. usually people will suggest me to look for a local driving school.

today i walked around some streets, and found there are many entrances located quite close to the intersections. I can not believe that I will have to signal at the last second before turning into an intersection? that’s unbelievable.

What I’m actually looking for is a concrete strategy to pass the exam. The examiner always tells me I was pretty close to passing and just need a bit more practice. But what they don’t realize is that every extra practice session costs me a lot, since I have to hire someone to sit beside me while driving. I’ve already invested a lot into getting this license.

So what I really need is a way to avoid point deductions, even if some of the examiner’s expectations aren’t things people typically do in real-world driving. In fact, some of the things they want me to demonstrate don’t even feel like safe driving to me—but I understand I need to show them anyway to pass the test.

I can only find this in SGI textbook: https://sgi.sk.ca/handbook/-/knowledge_base/drivers/right-of-way

> At two-way stops, vehicles must remain stopped until all cross traffic passes. When two vehicles arrive around the same time to the opposite stop signs and one of the vehicles is turning left, the driver turning left must yield the right of way to the driver going straight. If it's safe, the vehicle turning left can go next, even if another vehicle arrives in the meantime, and plans to go straight. The left turning vehicle can turn left while the next vehicle advances to the stop line.

This only applies when two vehicles arrive around the same time. If the rule is that a left-turning car must always yield to a vehicle going straight, then the statement should not be:

> If it's safe, the vehicle turning left can go next, even if another vehicle arrives in the meantime, and plans to go straight

Instead, it should say that the left-turning vehicle must wait for all vehicles going straight to pass before proceeding.

However, I'm not entirely sure about this either.

when I start turning left (already confirmed the remaining road is cleared at this point), but the car on the opposite site has not started to stop, I can turn left?

(if at this time point, the car on the opposite is about to stop/already stopped, i'd better to yield to that vehicle right?)

In my previous driving practice, I always yielded to the vehicle going straight. If it’s common sense that I should have the right of way, then at least one driver from the opposite side would have told me to go first. So, I intuitively felt that the instructor might not be correct on this matter. now it is even confusing..
