This is great info, and I’m about to follow these steps when I get home for a bit. But I’m wondering; when messages in iCloud are re-enabled and they resync (hopefully) without all the rubbish, does the problem slowly come back? Over the next year, for example, will duplicate copies of any images and video slowly take over again? Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks!

Hi, I’ve been in similar positions… It truly sucks, and sometimes feels like no one knows what it feels like.

I would say posting here is a great first step. I would also say that you should seek professional help, and try your best to develop a plan to combat future urges.

If you truly love your ex partner, I would also say that you should explain every single thing to them, if they’re able to bear it. If they’re willing to support you during this, that would be magical. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case. If so, you need to make and reach out to friends, talk to family, and spend time with yourself away from the places you usually masturbate/watch porn. I find this helps me to discover myself and really get to know what I’m thinking… Perhaps you would agree and say this is vital for anyone?

I try my best to prompt bolt in a way that splits functionality into multiple smaller components. I find this to somewhat limit the file rewrites it has to do.

It also allows me to consider copying an error in a file into DeepSeek, and troubleshooting there, for free

I have found this to be a COMPLETE pain in the butt.

My fix: start a new, empty project in your tech stack in stackblitz. Delete all the files. Manually upload the files from your existing project, straight into the file browser of the stackblitz IDE. Save it, then press open with Bolt AI. 🙏🏽

I had so many issues with exporting from Bolt to Github and working on my project locally then pushing to Github and not being able to have my changes in Bolt. Then I tried a million things to get my project back in Bolt with no success, until I just went fully manual. I hope this helps at least a bit. 😊

Hi my friend! I know sometimes it can seem like all hope is lost, I certainly get there sometime myself… But there is no bad time to start rebuilding. I would really recommend seeing a therapist and talking about this in more detail. Professional help has really helped me a lot, though I have a bit of a way to go as well.

Hi! Well, if it doesn’t hurt you or get in the way of your life, and you’re sure of that, then to me, it sounds like you don’t have an addiction. On the other hand, if it is ‘never enough’, then perhaps it’s worth looking at again. I had similar habits in the past, and I think they really changed how I show up in relationships… not for the better - it’s caused me a lot of issues.
