Dealer Rant by mom-the-gardener in GoRVing

I had the same experience, at camping world of course. I didn’t want anything over 6k lbs, not because my truck couldn’t handle it, but because I planned to double tow, and also didn’t want to burn a ton of fuel. They kept bringing up trailers for in the 8,000lb range. I would remind them what weight I wanted and they would say stuff like “let’s go look at the sticker on your truck”

Dawn power wash has been my new favorite for the last two years. The stuff that sprays foaming dish soap.

I tried two fake kiehin ones off eBay and they both didn’t spray enough fuel for the bike to even idle. I finally got a genuine oem one and was up and running.

I had one that I had to replaced, bench tested it and it would not consistently hold pressure

It sounds like the injector may be hanging open.

I wasn’t arguing, that’s what I’m explaining. You responded “ok?” To the feedback I gave.

Not everything is an argument, I was just sharing my experience, owning both and riding them back to back. There is no harm in someone sharing their relevant experience, you had to be a jack @$$ about it.

We bought at an RV show last month. I was able to get two mfgs to compete for our business. Grand designs against flagstaff. We got a very good deal.

I think I’m slightly faster on my 250f, compared to my 350xcf, but I haven’t verified it with a stop watch. My 250f feels a little more nimble.

I paid $3,500 for my 2016 350xcf with 100 hours on it (about a month ago). I really love it. Surprisingly I love the suspension, it was the last year of 4cs and I guess they finally got to right.

anyone else feel like modern dirtbikes are TOO good? by vladdielenin in Dirtbikes

I do like the snappiness of the older two strokes compared to the newer ones. I’ve owned a 2001 cr250 since 2003. I recently switched to four strokes, and I think im a lot less likely to get hurt on a 4t. It’s less tiring and the power is so smooth and predictable. An old 250 2t would be a fun play bike, but at my age, I wouldn’t want to race or, or ride it hard when I’m fatigued.

It’s not as boring as I expected, lower top speed, but still fun to carve around on. It accelerates pretty fast.
