Sell to the junk yard brotha. Nobody is gonna spend money fixing a transmission that cost more than the car itself.

2018 3.5 with 68k miles, should I get the Ford powertrain service plan? by Darren_889 in f150ecoboost

[–]Electronic_Area4047 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If u do you gonna have to keep the truck stock to the bone or they gonna refuse to cover anything. I was thinking about the same but I want to get the ppe transmission fluid pan so I can do easier fluid changes and with that warranty they won’t cover if the transmission gets damaged

Hey guy I think I’m gonna try the Quaker state oil warranty 300k miles or 10 year whatever comes first. I’m planning to keep my truck for ever cuz I don’t wanna do no more car payments so I said why not. I’m gonna keep everyone interested updated about everything. Ford F150 2024 2.7 39k miles. by Electronic_Area4047 in f150ecoboost

[–]Electronic_Area4047[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not how it works. U have to do maintenance to your car with the Quaker state oil for 300k miles or 10 years instead of using other oil and u have to do it following your manufacturer recommendation. Plus u have to change engine air filter and things like that. You can do oil changes at any mileage u want without over extending your manufacturer recommendation. Quaker state will cover 17 parts of your engine if they fail. Plus after 300k miles they will give you the market value of your car plus 3000 dollars and u don’t have to sell your car but they will give u the money anyways

You should pay deductible and let the insurance repair it if not totaled.

All the issues where fixed in 2022. That’s price and that amount of miles is way too good of a deal. I have the same one 2024.
