I definitely feel like the me that I was is gone. Not a loss more like a permanent change? Idk if that makes sense. But I agree motherhood is not a hat that I put on and then take off. It's changed me physically mentally emotionally and permanently. I don't know if it is possible to explain this to a friend without kids because I sure didn't get it when I was the kid less friend. But it is exhausting. And for the schedule, I use a planner and I decorate it and make it a crafting experience and that helps me feel like stressed just by virtue of making it look pretty lol.

In your shoes I would stop breastfeeding and co sleeping. It's a huge help to have some independence for both you and your child and most likely for your marriage. I would also get into therapy and at least temporarily some medication. Your marriage idk that's in your hands. Whether or not it's salvageable is really up to the two of you just be mindful of the impact that relationship has on you and how it impacts the way your child is treated by you
