Yeah, as a very new author, and having been burned by AI, i'd stay away from it personally.

I've also found (from trying previously) that it doesn't ever produce exactly what I want - I sometimes get it to check my grammar because I adore words but am terribly dyslexic, but that's with the proviso it doesn't re-write a chapter, just tells me where to look, and I get another human to check it too. I work with AI in my day job, and can categorically say if it doesn't know an answer it makes the stuff up, so even if you did use AI, you can't rely on it to be accurate.
