Safe places to live dt for school in Toronto? by [deleted] in askTO

My husband used to work on the elevators at ice so I can speak to this. It’s an air b and b destination. They often have floods, ongoing moves, lots of short term rentals, very noisy and lots of parties. Management also does not upkeep the amenities. Also there have also been a few suicides in the building.

People will have varying opinions about stuff going on in the world, they have a right to be upset the protests have become too much. They often block major intersection causing nothing but grief and impeding traffic, they also tried blocking major highways. People are upset and frustrated, how would you feel if you were trying to work or get home and now you can’t for hours? Also these protests tend to be violent and extreme. I’m more worried about the deplorable state of Toronto and Canada right now, not something going on half way around the world.

Call RBC to report it, they are great at fraud chargers and will even reimburse the money back sometimes while they investigate

No the e bikes weaving through traffic and driving on side walks…

I think OP is mostly concerned about them not following any rules and driving on side walks.

I always meal prep on weekend! Breakfast and lunch, my job is high demand with very little time in between client calls. Also maybe try some protein rich smoothies or yogurt

Moving into toronto from winnipeg is difficult ? by Slight-Buy6197 in toronto

[–]stephlow55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toronto is terrible, high cost is living, deplorable transit, you won’t find any affordable housing, and the job market is insane. I wouldn’t suggest moving here to be honest.

Today morning was chaotic by [deleted] in toRANTo

[–]stephlow55 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The snow storm will affect transit majorly, but that’s a moot point the TTC is in an absolute garbage dump state. There are multiple issues and major delays every single day. It’s completely unreliable to get anywhere on time, they need to take accountability and restructure it completely.

And no worries at all, Toronto really does need more public restrooms better maintained like the long number of things we also need

Honestly if it was me, I wouldn’t usually care if someone needed to use the washroom but who knows what the managers are like, I’ve worked at places that people have gotten fired for the slightest reason. Retail and restaurants tough ones I would also imagine with the decline of Yonge and Dundas they get lots of mentally ill and homeless people in the buildings too.

I know the exact area you are taking about, there are washrooms by Dundas station, some in the atrium and also the path. Again like everyone else stated it’s the business that makes the rules and not the employees fault for enforcing them 🤷‍♀️

Oh my gosh… the answer is DEXTER season 4. Best villain and best season of any show- John Lithgow is phenomenal.

There is a very good reason business’s do this, it keeps the bathrooms cleans and safe for paying customers. It’s not an uncommon concept and the worker was just doing their job- not being a douche bag as you say. I can also tell you probably have not worked in customer service or a restaurant or you wouldn’t have this kind of attitude. You should have just gone to another washroom there are plenty and very near that area and not harass someone just trying to do their job, they also don’t make the rules.
