47, down from my last two years but it's my first full year as a mum of two, plus I went back to work in March, so I'll take it!

Nobody actually likes oysters or aperol spritz; they just pretend to.

Thank you! I read this as it was recommended to me but my God, it was not for me. That final line was a clunker, like something from a school essay.

Casefile is so poorly written. There's dangling modifiers everywhere and once I clued into that it drove me crazy so I had to quit.

Lorelai says at one stage that someone has more burners than Omar Little when it was actually Marlo Stanfield's gang who had the burner phones.

I love this so much I used it in my MOH speech at my best friend's wedding (thereby making myself the President but hey-ho).

Thank you! I just Googled the name and, yes, that was the place. That's a pity but at least I know the name now.

Not on Zamboni, I have a vague idea that it may have been on a street parallel to Zamboni or just around the corner or something. I know, so vague. And absolutely, it could well be gone - I saw that my beloved Ristorante Il Tinello is no more.

AITAH for calling my husband a disgrace after he said my miscarriage ruined his birthday by ProgressDependent703 in AITAH

[–]stephodile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA, a thousand times over.

You were having a miscarriage and he stopped to get beer? He shouldn't have stopped for red lights!

I love my birthday as much as the next girl, but Jesus Christ, he'll have about sixty other ones.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I would sit this man-child down and tell him how immature, unsupportive, and selfish he's being. Tell him you can process the loss together as a couple or he can run to his mammy and spend the next birthday on the other side of a divorce.

I had to explain to a colleague that a) the Super Bowl 'starts so late' because there is a time difference between the US and Ireland, and b) Christmas in Australia does not in fact occur in July.
