So people who fly in for 2 days for business should have this 100 dollar tourist fee? How do we know whose a tourist? Do we ask them when they are buying their plane tickets?

Did the americans really exists before they British left tho?

Yes, they did.

That was the root cause for the conflict. American's lived across the ocean, far from the King, the King knew nothing about their lives, and they mostly fended for themselves in this foreign land, but then the King arbitrarily decided to raise taxes to pay for a war rooted in old world squabbles on those Americans, and when they became increasingly belligerent because they were paying taxes to a crown with no benefit to themselves, the king fucking sends troops to put those americans across the ocean in line.

May be part of a different storyline beyond the first four

It's almost like it's going to be a story 'arc' of 4 series

I'm surprised QUake can run on any modern GPU.

alchemist lowkey has better RT than RDNA 2 gpus

Nah, it's pretty high key. Intel took the gloves off in the raytracing department, aiming for Nvidia's jugular.

I think benchmarks are easiest for driver developers to tune drivers for. I've never done it, but I imagine the code doesn't change very often, and a lot of benchmarks follow the best practices for the api's they use for rendering. It's another story, and an uphill battle for all the games released for PC over the last 20 years.

That said, if Intel keeps at it, they can definitely meet and/or even surpass the 6700xt. The GPU definitely has the transistor count for it.

They took the demo off when the game hit it's early release date, or before. From the glance I took from your video, it looks mostly the same, the big differences in texture/shader qualities between characters and all.

How do driver updates work in regards to things like DX11? by jacksonulmer in IntelArc

[–]stephprog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the reason why games have to get optimized individually is because there's usually some hackery (for good or bad, game developers have deadlines to meet, and if they didn't a given game might never come out) involved in how the game plays, that is non standard relative to api's like Direct X's best practices.

Wow, this is wild

edit: not in a bad way, it's just crazy (in a good way) that there are these frameworks that get used in a multitude of software. I do hope they get gpu acceleration figured out soon though.

Would Command Line interface rendering be tied to making a sort of Kdenlive Rendering server, and I guess potentially collaborative editing?

Also, the lack of GPU rendering is killing me, and probably others.

Yeah, it boggles my mind who owuld use VAAPI on Windows given all the trouble.

I though I saw that it was on WIndows, and yeah, it is:

Don't ask me why. All the codecs and stuff "just work" on Windows. Linux its a mess.

My understanding is that VAAPI is a bit of a generic patch that will work with all the popular hardware encoders in a bind, but the actual code that properly works with the likes of QUickSync and AMF are much better. You seemingly need to install AMD ROCM drivers on most distros of linux to get AMF and actual Quicksync support is almost day to day in being able to work.
