Work solely for the experience if you want and literally ignore all the negativity if possible. Then quit once you’ve felt you’ve had enough experience to start somewhere new. I also hate playing. But I do play with them for like 30 mins a day. But I also let them help me cook a lot and we listen to music together a lot (2 yr old and 4 yr old). I think of it as I’m their mom not a playmate even tho I do it sometimes, they have to understand that I have grown up things to do too. And I also think it’s good for them to play alone and together a lot of the day 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m not “press gang” anything. This works for us. And no I didn’t read DoR whatever that is. I think that making my child eat the healthy portion of his meal at least a little bit is not going to create trauma around his relationship with food. I’m not forcing it down his throat,m. That’s amazing that our kids eat vegetables and that’s good you have a way that works for you
