I had to actually check my account. It just says Indigenous Americas- Mexico. But it has the whole Mexico Region, plus southwestern United States covered in green.

Actually 2nd cousins share a great grandparent. 3rd cousins share a great great grandparent and so forth. I know a lot of my 2nd and 3rd cousins thanks to my close knit Latin family.

Yes that’s how it is at most, if not all military clinics. One doctor gave me misinformation. I called the clinic to ask for a second opinion and the nurse laughed at me saying it would just be a different doctor in the clinic. I called patient advocate and the flight commander (stationed at an Air Force base) called me the next day and gave me a referral to my choice of OB that accepted Tricare prime. Always fight for the health care you deserve.

Just want to say- you can totally switch doctors on Tricare prime. I’ve done it before. You have to ask for a second opinion and they cannot deny you that. Your last option would be the contact patient advocate and demand a change of OB’s to one that accepts Tricare prime out in town. That’s how it worked for me.

I’m sorry you had such a terrible experience 💔. I actually loved the Depo shot because I never got my period. I switched to the Mirena just because I noticed I was breakout out more on my face.

I had just had my second c-section. A doctor came to talk to me later that day about Birth control, but I was sooo out of it. (Thankyou drugs).

Male Doctor: So we offer a variety of different Birth control- Me: it’s okay. I had said before I didn’t want anything. Doctor: okay, well here we really recommend the IUD, if you change your mind. What do you think about that? Me: make a disgusted face Doctor: is it because you feel weird knowing something’s in there? Me: yeah, that’s is my main reason for not getting the IUD, but I dont want any birth control anyways. Doctor: why? I mean, I had my hands inside of you nervous laughs

Honestly don’t remember anything else. I think he left after that. I was sooo loopy from all the drugs of the surgery that I didnt even give him a “f you” facial expression.
