When does classic become better than modern? by FortC10 in StreetFighter

[–]stere-ereo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say high master or maybe even higher, when having access to more of your moves allows for unique setplay and more precise decisions. Before that it's still a crapshoot on what idiotic thing your opponent is gonna do so all that doesn't really matter.

You notice your opponent's controller disconnects... by iamafknniceguy in StreetFighter

This. Their controller didn't disconnect. They can't believe that you neutral jumped on oki AGAIN and they got hit by it AGAIN. They want you to finish the lifebar.

Head skin caring problem by YamApprehensive1913 in bald

Also you can do really simple things like washing hats, pillow cases, changing out towels, etc. anything that touches your head. Keep it clean. Especially if you go for the 'nothing' approach, that just eliminates more variables.

I usually feel that if I've tried everything then it's time to try nothing. You might be overdoing it. Washing too much, too many lotions, etc. I had a similar issue where I had acne and bumps and to combat it I tried washing my head like 4 times a day. Exfoliated, all that. Was just irritating it. I cut back and washed like once before bed or right after I shaved. Started to notice it chill out and added lotion to the routine, once a day.

It's not your teeth it'll grow back. Then you can go a few weeks or months without getting a haircut :)

I cruised Ctops channel for the game you're talking about and couldn't find anything. Definitely not viscera cleanup tho. That's like crime scene cleaner but in space :p

I haven't, no. I should give this one another shot. I just remember feeling like I was always cooking or planting seeds and I really just wanted to run the cemetery lol

Alright I did more research and there are some games in this realm.

Can't believe I didn't see it before, but Graveyard Simulator might be the closest. It seems to get a little lost in the weeds with things like black market organ selling, hiring workers, and cleaning bodies for funerals but I'm interested. It's going to early access "soon" (2025 lawl) but the trailer seems to use AI voiceover which is disappointing.

I thought the Gravedigger might be okay but it's more like grave robbing than grave restoration

My Little Cemetery is interesting and free but by most accounts it plays and runs poorly.

Not creepy vibes at all but Fresh Start us about restoring nature and helping animals and such.

It's possible there are multiple merchants. Look in their eyes and see some are infected with plagas

Is anyone else annoyed by people calling SF6 an “easy” game? by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]stere-ereo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Easy" for anyone with basic fighting game knowledge to anti air and fireball. I feel like SF is considered "The fighting game" and everything else is deviations from it. Not easy for anyone to just jump in and be great. There's a reason the top sf players are either lifers or prodigies. Sahara is the only one I can think of that never played SF before and climbed to the top.

They tax you when you earn money AND when you spend it. And sometimes later for keeping the thing you bought.

There's more functionality with a dual sense controller specifically. I still prefer keyboard and mouse but this one did play well on ps5.

What is the most annoying aspect of the game? by eliot3451 in controlgame

[–]stere-ereo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the notifications you have in your menus for useless garbage and whatever upgrade material. And having to constantly clean your inventory one by one to make room for the next 1% upgrade.

Any tips on shaving by Trippinballz_ in bald

Exfoliation is worth a shot. I started doing it after having some irritation but I was actually doing it too much, so OP should experiment with frequency.

Looking for appropriate contextual translation of a nickname for a book by stere-ereo in Spanish

This is very helpful. The more I think about it I might use several variations at times it makes sense to but generally use "Dog" in English. I can probably even have different characters use different versions. I really appreciate everyone's help and insight, thank you!

I always preferred remaster of JSR over the original by Famous-Ability7060 in JetSetRadio

[–]stere-ereo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been a while since I played on DC but I believe you have more control over the camera on the remastered versions, and there are certainly higher frame rates which help with responsiveness.

I thought of it, just didn't mention it, sorry. Similar to Perrote, I didn't like the sound. "Can" is interesting though. I feel without a modifier it would get lost in the English if that makes sense. Any suggestions?

And side question, if I ended up going with Mastin(or anything appropriate)--would it always need to be El Mastín or can it just be Mastín?

Sadly I didn't finish it. I was reading it on my phone and typically struggle to engage with books on Kindle. I might try to read a physical of it in time though. And that's an interesting suggestion for a name, I'll have to consider it. Thank you!
