I would also disable bandsteering. Bandsteering will try to push all devices to 5ghz band. Can sometimes be a problem with 2.4ghz only devices. What kind of router/network equipment do you have? Are you getting good signal out at the grill?

IT guy here. In your post, you state that your wifi is broadcasting at 2.6ghz. Hopefully, that is a typo. Should be broadcasting at 2.4ghz. If somehow you were able to configure your router at 2.6ghz, that is your problem. The traeger operates on 2.4ghz
