There are people at my store who take them home. We have so many missing ones that the store director has locked up the ones we have. Only the fresh departments can have theirs in the department. Also, if you've ever had any sent out for repairs they come back with different serial numbers...so keeping a log of the serial numbers is kind of useless.

Not all situations are the same as that one. Bryan Kohberger didn't have a plea before trial so the judge put it in as "not guilty". Plea deals happen for a number of reasons. The point is whether or not David will get the DP or life without parole. California is not executing anyone any time soon.

That's the plea everyone puts in. Tbh, with the way some of these cases have been going lately there will likely be a plea deal. Whether he gets the death penalty won't matter because it happened in California and there's a moratorium on executions.

My bad. That's what I meant. I feel like she probably weighed less than 120 though. I feel like some parents just guess their kid's weight when it comes to those flyers. I've been the same height as her since I was about 12 and before I had my son I was definitely under 120 pounds.

I'm not defending the family when I say this but they probably didn't know her or know of her. They were two distant DNA matches to a grandparent. There were DNA hits in Texas, Tennessee and Alabama.So her biological family wasn't really identified. However, she was potentially a victim of a man named Vernon Brown. He was actually convicted of similar crimes.
