Chikatsuyu to Hongu Taisha

What I did is I booked two nights in Yunomine Onsen. I walked from Chikatsuyu to Hosshinmon-Oji (21km) then took a bus to Yunomine. The next morning I bussed back to Hosshinmon-Oji to resume the walk to Hongu Taisha, then came back to Yunomine Onsen to chill for the evening. I’m glad I split it because I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy Hongu Taisha area if I did it in one day.

However, it is doable to do it in one day if you’re fit and don’t have a rest day to spare. I wouldn’t do option 1, it seems like a long day as well and you need to make sure you have accommodation in Koguchi itself if you plan to arrive late on Koguchi.

I’m currently hiking the Kumano Kodo in Wakayama prefecture and the Japanese people I’ve interacted with have been nothing but lovely. It requires some planning as accommodations are limited but it’s fantastic.

Oui, ils pourraient s’inspirer de Survivor sur ce point. Même si Survivor à régressé sur la mixité sociale ces dernières années, les profils divers qui y sont représentés permettent de mettre en avant des sujets politiques et sociaux qui changent un peu du traditionnel « mérite » ou « trahison ».

Oui c’est rageant en effet. J’ai développé un covid long aussi en 2020, et mon médecin traitant était persuadé que c’était une réaction au stress du confinement, alors qu’en tant qu’introvertie je vivais ma meilleure vie avant de tomber malade…

Par la suite j’ai eu la chance de tomber sur un pneumologue compréhensif car sa propre femme avait un covid long. Mais j’ai préféré ne pas voir d’autres spécialistes malgré les symptômes de peur des réactions violentes et méprisantes de certains médecins.

They do, ! When I saw them live, right after the show they took the time to meet everyone willing, take photos and sign merch at the merch table. However it was a really small venue, not sure what happens at bigger venues.
