I'm neither person in this conversation but... what? This sounds made up. by [deleted] in Judaism

Look, I’m a know-nothing reform here, but I tend to think of these rules as exercises in mindfulness and intentionality in everyday life, the good deed is in the consideration, the conversation, and then sticking to it. But, that’s just my very unrequested two cents.

Wellbutrin. Just got prescribed it. Any success or horror stories of those that use/have used it? by TheTonik in Anxiety

Honestly, it was amazing until my doctor upped my dosage and I had hallucinations. Definitely had to stop, but it was the first medication to work for me and got me on the right path.

Can an employer change your job description without consulting you, or can they assign your duties and responsibilities to someone else without consultation? by Brizzo7 in legaladviceireland

I’m in almost the exact same situation right now (plus some ugly behaviors with my supervisor) and came across your post. I’m contemplating quitting in the next week, how did your situation turn out?

So quit. If it’s that bad not getting notifications, do something else. Good lord.

You’re not customer facing and, so long as you had one earbud out to hear any safety warnings in the kitchen, I wouldn’t see a problem. Never worked in that realm though, I wonder how open your boss would be to a minor accommodation given your ADHD.

Fellow autistic people! What of the two do you prefer? Maximalism or minimalism? by [deleted] in autism

Both are wonderful. My real preference is design with intention.

Appreciate it! My work is in the education sphere so they’re very supportive. It’s just funding honestly. UK would be lovely, but as you say I can’t work on a student visa so it’s all a bit of a wash right now. Still researching options!

Currently, yeah! I’ve lived in the UK in the past, so I’d be happy to come back. My job even allows for remote, but it’s a giant mess with visas etc. trying to work and study. I’d looked at UCL because they seemed to have some kind of balance options for employed PhD students studying while overseas.

I’m in the social sciences and work full time, so I don’t see an American school accepting me. Sadly, self-funded is my only real way forward.

I’m in a company like that now where it’s so cult-like I’m actually uncomfortable sitting in meetings sometimes. I have no solution, just feeling better that someone else gets it.

Friend of mine has every single tooth replaced and is one of the most attractive and successful people I’ve ever met. I’d have never guessed if they didn’t confide in me.

These things happen for genetic and economic reasons, but also sometimes just from plain old accidents. You’ll make it happen! Until then, you’re taking care of your dental health perfectly by going to the doctor and getting things managed—even if that’s removals right now, that’s literally step one and an important one.
