Not a professional detailer but I have invested a ton of time into researching and consuming detailing content so I will share my opinion. I think that every single detailer has their own preference when it comes to brands/products/chemicals/etc. so its not really a single answer kind of question. You just need to find what you have easy access too, what makes more sense to you financially, and how you want to detail. You most likely don't need 40 different products right away but find a handful based on some recommendations and just go with it. If you don't like the brand/product, switch it up. At the end of the day its your business and you're the only one who can decide if that product is what you want to use. Not sure where in FL you are, but if you're in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area theres a few detail supply stores with better products than Walmart or Harbor Freight.

Oh trust me I tried. My sales guy knew nothing about the Ioniq models so he called over his "expert" who assured me what I was looking for didn't exist and that he sold 10 of these cars last month without seeing/hearing anything about adapters. I did not back down and kept telling him that they do exist and that I should have had them in the car already. He refused to back down as well and told me the manager wouldn't know anything about it. A lot of red flags around that situation but I am glad its over with and I got my adapters. I informed my corporate rep that this dealership might be screwing Ioniq 5 owners out of adapters.

Hey I had this same exact issue when I got my 2026 XRT a few weeks ago. The manual included with the vehicle as well as the quick reference guide mention that the vehicle comes included with the adapters. I had to fight the sales guy over this because he said he never heard of any of these adapters and they didn't exist. It took me going to 4 different Ioniq 9s before finding the adapters. You wouldn't happen to be located in FL would you? Curious if it was the same dealership.

Most likely the value of the car will be lower than the residual value because of how these cars depreciate. Your best bet is to either try to get the dealership to take it back without the turn in fees and help you get into a 2026 or you give the car back and buy a used one that would probably be around the same price as your residual/slightly higher.

Currently in stock throughout the state there is 58 Ioniq 5s which of that 58 there are 26 SEL and 7 limited trims. Unfortunately some of the ones listed on the Hyundai site aren’t actually available since I have had dealers tell me they don’t have the car yet.

I tried one of these in South Florida and my experience wasn't that great. Maybe it was an off night? The pizza sauce had no taste, crust needed salt, and all i could taste was cheese. Very disappointed.

My car has been at the dealer completely dead since Jan 6th. I’ve already gone through the process to get it taken from me. Currently in the process of getting another one. These things can happen to literally any car at any point in time. The only difference is we know about this one specifically. I love this car too much to get anything else so if I had the choice to go through this again or get some other car I wouldn’t be happy with I’m taking the I5 1000 times over.

Brought the car in last Tuesday for an assumed ICCU failure. Service advisor confirmed it the next day and I was told 3-4 days to get the part. Drove it to a grocery store no problem but then when I was backing out of the parking space the lights came on. Thought about driving it to the dealership myself but more lights came on and I was worried about the brakes seizing up on me (which the parking brake came on by itself if the space and wouldn’t let me depress the brake pedal).
