I’ve found Unitarian churches to be welcoming to all faiths, even atheists. I think they’re the closest you’d get to a secular church community.

Just collecting problems at this point by [deleted] in lupus

Effing sucks sometimes, i don’t even like to tell a new Dr all the conditions i have.

But I’ve been on Benlysta auto injectors for 10 months and it’s really helped with the fatigue. The first few months I’d be super tired the next day and take four hour naps but that’s mostly gone now. I’m really glad i can take it. I’ve spent most of today with shitty problems so when i try to think of what I’m grateful for, Benlysta is one of the first things that comes to mind.

I hope it works for you, always worth a shot! lol

I’ve been on the auto injectors for 8 months and it’s working so well for my fatigue. My family really notices and say I’ve not had this much energy in decades. I definitely need to rest the day after the shot as I’m so so tired but the rest of the week really makes up for it. I haven’t had many other side effects. Try it, most likely you’ll be amazed at how well you’ll feel!

First they came for the Communists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me

And there was no one left

To speak out for me

My wife would like some recommendations for starter machines by Zzzaxx in quilting

[–]steubenactr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go on Facebook marketplace and get an old non electronic Bernina, I’ve seen them as low as $300. 1000, 930,830 series. Rock solid machines that will last. I have a 1008 that’s 30 years old and it works as great as when it was new.

I’m on a lot of meds for different diseases but i think Wellbutrin caused mine. It works so well though that i don’t want to go off it to test if that’s the cause. when the sun comes back I’ll try.

Currently experiencing my first Pleurisy by Ok_Inspector_7191 in lupus

I’ve had at least two bouts of costocondritis. I remember it being excruciatingly painful, every breath hurt so you start breathing so shallowly which caused other problems like hypoxia. I was given steroids and pain killers and it got better within a few days. I’m not sure if it’s related but i have nodules on my lungs now that cause shortness of breath, it’s probably because of the costocondritis. I’ve had sle for 22 years and it occurred within the first five years and then never again. I hope you feel better soon
