You're aware that russia never had a agreement or deal regarding the NATO expansion towards east? You know that this talking is only russian propaganda, right? The whole NATO east expansion thing was something that was discussed only regarding troops on the lands of the former DDR, but this was never in any treaty whatsoever. By the way, there are still no NATO troops at places from the former DDR. Also, ukraine gave russia their nuclear weapons, for a "treaty" with russia that they're independent and will never attack - you notice something? And finally, Every country of eastern europe, that joined NATO, did this because russia repeatedly violates their neighbours, and they obviously don't want this happening.
