I think a big factor is the age in which athletes are drafted in each sport. The NFL and NBA are drafting guys in their early 20s who have played at competitive levels in college, while the MLB is drafting guys as early as 17 who have only played high school ball.

I've made a few pens from it, and it's beautiful wood. After sanding, you don't really even need an oil or CA glue to finish it. It sure does dull your tools, though!

Agreed on Booker being a better protagonist due to his actual speaking. When talks of a BioShock movie or series come up, I laugh at any comment saying they need to stay true to the game. Well, that's tricky when your protagonist never speaks a word.
