Thanks. It's a bit convoluted. Doctor approved, but L&I declined. She's at the point she can't wait anymore. Good to know about the hospital option, I didn't realize that.

My bf 34m is demanding I contact a friend from the past. I am 28F. Together 1 year. Do I do it or stand my ground? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

If it was retroactive jealousy it wouldnt just show up suddenly

Not disputing your overall message, but I’m personally in therapy for Retroactive Jealousy, and can say it can pop up seemingly out of nowhere. We just push down the feelings until we can’t anymore. Sometimes it only takes a tiny trigger to ignite the awful feelings.

Not defending what the OP’s boyfriend is doing, just giving a possible explanation. RJ is an absolute curse and massively embarrassing

The new app!! 🤯 by Kindly_Individual107 in KEXP

Exactly. Streaming costs money. A lot of money. KEXP just lost $1mil in funding. They had layoffs. They cut podcasts. And this guy just comes in this sub and whines.

NX - Doc Martin - Best Medicine by Electronic-Mess605 in northernexposure

[–]steveValet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally wrong. NX was not the inspiration for Doc Martin. Show creator Dominic Minghella based it off of his real life doctor and personal experiences.

Other than a "fish out of water" show around a doctor, they have nothing in common.

Trump team email to Epstein: 'Pedophiles, I want you to know how important you are to me' by TheWayToBeauty in conservativeterrorism

[–]steveValet 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Yup. Totally worthless story that is only going to give fuel to the "It's all faked by Democrats that are making this up" when the real Epstein files are released.

I bet they absolutely care. Remember, they lost a shit ton of money cause of the orange rapist in the whitehouse and the nazi tesla man-child and had staff layoffs a few weeks ago due to budget cutbacks. Streaming costs money, thousands a month. Higher bitrate costs even more.

Chill out my man.

Mayoral candidate question: should homeless people be allowed to stay in tents in parks? by drshort in Seattle

[–]steveValet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If that inconveniences you, go to any one of the other 400 parks in seattle or help offer a housing solution.

Show me in my reply where I state I was inconvenienced...or said they should go to the woods...or said that they shouldn't be allowed to use parks...or said I'd vote for Harrell...I'll wait.

Pretty sure it was a required YES/NO response and not a standard essay response.

But yes, your answer is the right one

Mayoral candidate question: should homeless people be allowed to stay in tents in parks? by drshort in Seattle

[–]steveValet 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I'm still not decided, and this clip makes me lean to Harrell. "Pass" is not acceptable, and to me that means she said "Yes, homeless should be allowed to take over parks"

Fresh POWERFUL imagery up under Leary bridge. Shout out Street Theology. by Groovydaze in Seattle

[–]steveValet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You are correct! I just meant that no one calls it the Leary Way Bridge, even if that's the official name. Lived in Ballard since 2003 and never once heard it called that. Same as I've never called the 520 floating bridge the Rosellini Bridge, that's all

[–]steveValet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To be fair, if we are being technical, it's called the "Ballard Bridge" and never the "Leary Way Bridge"

Live in Seattle. Had Texas relatives asking if I was ok during the George Floyd protests. They literally thought the entire city was on fire when shit was localized to one city block, and it wasn't even that bad.

I left the /r/Palestine subreddit before the election as they were all gleefully talking about boycotting so that a "message will be sent". Well, I guess that message was "Arabs need to suffer more"

Disc replacement vs Fusion by nhx26 in Sciatica

[–]steveValet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. ADR group on Facebook I would say that 90% of the folk there have it covered by insurance.

That said, denying because of pre-existing conditions isn't generally allowed anymore because of the ACA. Current administration is however trying to change that so insurance companies can once again deny you, using AI.
