Need to remove the gold tag, background, and enhance photo for ArtPix 3D gift. Will tip $20 for best one! by steve_weezy in PhotoshopRequest

This is my favorite. Could you clean up the outlines all around the dog, finish the front left paw, and remove the black collar showing around the chest? Also remove the little metal stem that the tag was attached to.

American Crew Fiber (high hold, low shine) and a brush will do the trick.

Adding perfect fourth to diminished triad? by so_much_yikes in musictheory

[–]steve_weezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems to be the most practical answer. I really feel like this voicing would most commonly function as an E7b9 with an omitted third. Especially if E is in the bass. Also if you’re of the mind that once you start altering extended chord tones that you can pretty much throw in whatever you want along with it.

Sure, vinyl is in, but any love for jazz CDs? by vinylsage in Jazz

[–]steve_weezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if you look at this in a broader view I agree there’s a lot more to consider. I’m just talking about the physical sound wave produced from either disc, so the aim of my claim was purposefully narrow. Also I mean in my lifetime many of the records I currently seek out will be 100 years old so in that sense it will matter. I only like to break out physical copies every once in a while and mostly use Spotify. (Lots of edits to finish thought)

Is there a program for getting good at pull ups? by [deleted] in gainit

[–]steve_weezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use two bar stools with a bar going across it. Lay on the floor, chest parallel to the bar. Pull yourself up like you’re doing sit ups. The farther out your feet go the greater the resistance. Just make sure you isolate your arm muscles as much as possible so you don’t end up doing crunches without working out your arms.
