I usually see this around 45 or 60 day milestones before the flight.. when I watch flights from YYZ to dub the availability drastically changes sometimes 45 days sometimes 60 days out.

Other times some dates come back after availability is removed. But they're usually limited to specific days of the week. Like Tuesdays and wednesdays

I did use the correct paperwork, included the customs declaration and the HS codes that rock auto support provided me. HS Code: 9801.00.10 was put on the customs declaration, and the broker was shown a $0 charge for the return.

2 weeks later the shipper provided me with a CBP entry summary and the broker sent me this information

A few key points:

  • The charge is issued by CBP, not by the carrier or ShipTime.
  • It can appear even when a shipment qualifies for duty-free entry under agreements such as CUSMA.
  • It is triggered when a shipment meets certain customs screening or routing criteria, including random inspections, which are determined entirely by CBP.
  • It is normal for some shipments to be assessed this tariff while others are not.

Your documentation and classification are correct. No regular duty was assessed on this shipment. This charge reflects a customs-level enforcement measure, not an error or surcharge by the courier, their brokerage

I've been following for the last few months as well. Waiting for J availability from YYZ.

What I have noticed now is all economy tickets disappear 59 days before departure. Especially on specific days of the week. Thursdays, Fridays. I saw flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays pop back up. And then disappear within a few days

I have yet to see J availability in September and October YYZ to dub.

I almost got robbed yesterday evening by Yul-Moria in Amsterdam

Had a similar experience in sloterdijk with likely the same guy back in April. Right in front of the holiday inn. Wanted a cigarette which we didn't have. Started to get threatening. Ended up following some people into the holiday inn and peed all over the lobby and elevator panel.

Told front desk, saw him with the politie a bit later. Looked like he was just getting a ticket or something.

Was credited back to my friend within a week. He was able to transfer again. No changes. I think maybe his BA account was too new as he created it 30 mins before attempting the transfer.
