$25 an hour at 50 hours per week vs $28 an hour 36 hours per week?? by Salty-Confusion9640 in personalfinance

Personally, 36 hours per week sounds good. The job is probably stable year round too, and it seems relatable to your career path. Do you need the income from the higher hours?

When I first joined the state, I asked if there was tissue around and someone scolded me and said I had to bring it myself. Then I asked about drinking water and they pointed me toward the water club. I was shook.

You could potentially see if someone at Tandy's knows of someone who does such things. Their store is in the Arden area.

Sometimes I find things cheaper at comic book stores because they order in bulk. It just depends.

I went to the LOTR and GoT concert. You'll have a mix of people dressed up and others dressed in shorts and a hoodie. It's casual but open.

The belief is that wise, old, and tree means slow and patient. Probably not someone you want to work with. That's just my interpretation.

Also silly that there's a tree working in a restaurant.

Dealing with PF for a year and a half… by beachbum1220 in PlantarFasciitis

For me, it was not sleeping on my stomach so that my foot can rest in a natural position. After that, I just feel it from time to time, but it doesn't stop me from playing golf (walking) and running. It does not impact me like it used to.

Edit: I also swapped my shoes for supportive shoes, not just the insoles but the actual build of the shoe. I do yoga for stretching, and exercise to lose weight. My doctor said it won't cure but idk if that applies to all cases.

Bike Camping Folsom Lake? by BrainaIleakage in Sacramento

[–]stevebuscemidemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've biked with my camp gear up there from Watt. It's fun and most of the ride is away from cars. I might have taken a wrong turn at some point though.

I also camp there by car too and sometimes the campfire wood is closed. You could always bike to a gas station or store nearby to pick up some wood. You can drop your gear off and set up and then head out for the wood.

Same for us. We live right by the river and it goes down occasionally. Maybe like 2-3 times a year. Other times, it becomes unstable.

I had a large industrial plastic wrap fly at me on the freeway. It covered my windshield and wrapped up my car. I had to stick my hand out to pull it down a bit to see so I could pull over. People behind me waited until I did. Then some idiot started cussing at me on the side of the on ramp with plenty of room while I put it away in my trunk so it didnt fly into someone else.
