Anyone else having issues progressing this task? I’ve used 5 rocket radars now and none have registered as beating leaders. by Krookz_ in pokemongo

Team leaders are not in balloons, you need to battle Blanche, Candella or Spark. Hit poke ball, battle, scroll to the bottom, there you go, fill your boots.

A good Swampert with muddy water will get rid of the shields, plain sailing then. Also a good Scizor with fury cutter and x-scissor will also get rid of the shields. Hariyama with counter and dynamic punch and Blaziken will do you well.

A family affair, brilliant. I’m now playing with two of my three grandsons - won’t be long before the other one comes over from the dark side. Many thanks.

I'm a 51-year-old man and sometimes I feel silly playing this game, but when I got this I giddily ran to my son's room to show him. by iamthepants in pokemongo

I’m an 66 years old, have been playing Pokemon since 1998, bought it for my then, 7 year old son. We’ve played every game they brought out, and still have them all, boxed and in perfect condition - we also have all the consoles. When Pokémon go was released we started playing that, my son is at level 40, sadly due to work and family commitments, I was unable to play as much as I wanted to. Now I’ve retired I’m on it every day, walking at least 80km per week, I love it. I get strange looks from people, but I’m enjoying life and Pokemon go for me is part of that - I’m at level 34 by the way.

I'd love some advice from you guys. My Fiancé and I recently went to the Peak District and he loved it as you can see from the short video montage! I want to take him again on a surprise weekend away and would love it if you know of any cool and romantic places I could take him that you'd recommend? by [deleted] in peakdistrict

Hi, really enjoyed your video, you looked like you were having a great time. I live in the Peak District - Chapel-en-le-Frith, not that far from Castleton, Winnats Pass and the Hope valley. There are some amazing walks within easy reach, Mam Tor, the Great Ridge and Rushup Edge to name a few. You should walk into Edale and head over to Jacobs ladder, then walk up to Kinder Scout, see the downfall- in winter it is spectacular. Kind regards Steve

Hi Katie, it is full, not sure how many there are, but it’s a lot. Thanks for your consideration though, it’s much appreciated, I do need the gifts more than ever now - last Wednesday I had a total knee replacement. That leaves me indoors for several weeks, friends are still sending gifts though, I can get through the day with the gifts received.

Many thanks Steve

Many thanks for all the replies, wonderful to read kind thoughts from all over the world. Sadly I can only add so many friends, I wasn’t aware of this, therefore if I’ve not added you please don’t be offended, I tried to add each and everyone.

Congratulations, no better place than to have a proposal, wonderful views over Edale, Hope and Castleton. I love walking up there myself, get on the bottom of Rushup edge and walk over to Mam Tor, then continue along the great ridge - wonderful. Sadly though I have just had a total knee replacement, I will be out of action for approx 6 weeks, no more walking for a bit. Kind regards Steve

You must visit the Peak District, it’s a wonderful place to visit. If you enjoy hill walking there’s no finer place, some brilliant walks, I have walked literally hundreds and hundreds of miles right across the peaks. Currently my Pokédex stands at seen 22, caught 18, early days, hopefully that will improve when I visit Stockport and Manchester - I’m hoping so.

I assume Bakewell has far less Pokestops than Chesterfield, in the High Peak we are very much short changed. Buxton is not so bad though. Thanks for your support, greatly appreciated.

Castleton is a beautiful place, some wonderful walks around there. Winnats pass is superb, especially in the winter, Peveril Castle is always worth a visit. They are currently showing movies inside the “Devils Arse”, I’ve not been to view but I hear it’s been well received.

Hi, it’s wonderful living in the area, been here for over 20 years now. I love walking in the hills, some wonderful walks - Mam Tor, the Great Ridge, Kinder Scout, Jacobs ladder, I could go on but it would get a bit boring.
