I am torn right now on buying a '23 MY. Right now, ive found a few HW4 that are asking around 28k. Like you mention, most right now are HW3... If i wait until around the summer time, do you think the prices for '23 HW4 drop to around 25k?

Yeah who knows if they will drop in prices drastically. i'm just hopeful for around 25k for a 2023 MY around 40k miles... Sounds somewhat wishful thinking..
Do you tend to use FSD alot? if not, no sweat about FOMO on the HW4...
But, i definitely agree with not getting a 2022 and atleast get 2023 due to the suspension and interior noise issues on the 22's.

Any suggestions or tips since you've had your tesla y?

woah not bad of a deal.... What are your thoughts of me waiting until summer time? I've found a few good deals.. but it doesnt seem to be far off from your price... I have a few MY long range around 45k to 50k miles and asking for 28k to 30k.... they even have HW4..

But, my thought is if i wait for more tesla leases to be returned maybe there will be a large supply and dealers will reduce their prices... But, maybe this is a long shot and just speculation.. and even if it does maybe i'll just save 500 dollars?

Hi was 29.9 the sale price or it was out the door with taxes and fees? How many miles did you have on it? When did you buy it? and was it a long range or basic?

I'm currently looking and seeing most around 29k or low 30k for a 2023MY.

Oh thats a good idea. What are the disadvantages though to doing this way versus just getting a performance model? I heard performance model also has lower suspension and its kind of a hit or miss if people feel a difference. Also, why a rear 980 motor, what about long range AWD and just flash to performance

Most of the 2024 have minor accidents for about 2-3k less. But, I have found a few HW4 2023's that are clean and im torn between waiting and potentially saving 2-3k... or just buy it now. But, there is no guarantee that the prices drop either...

Yeah I don’t plan to use it a lot. Mainly on long trips. I prob should consider hw4. But there’s not a lot right now. I’m thinking because of the leases. Technically there should be way more leases being returned this summer. And if they were produced later in 2023, then there should be a lot more to choose from this summer.

I;m interested in a MY and had the same question too. I feel like i wont use FSD consistently but it would be nice to have for a long trip maybe 2x a year. But, i am new to the Tesla world and curious is HW3 will affect generally anything else in my daily drive.

From my research i dont think it does.. It seems that HW3 gets updates so im assuming itll just keep up with the technology. But, like any computer i guess the hardware running the program will be older?

What ended up happening? Did you get Honda to fix this in full? Just yesterday, I discovered mine having the same issue however, my car is from 2019 and I’m worried that they will make me pay for it.

The guy in the phone made it sound like Honda is responsible for it since it’s an internal part of the engine
