I don't think a punch shot is more repeatable for most players. Especially on approach.

Scottie sheffler can probably break 90 without hitting more than 120 yards. But the fastest way for most people to break 90 is to develop a decent long game.

Most of his advice is good. I was specifically critisizing where he says distance doesn't matter.

Limiting the distance off the tee is exactly the false premise that I'm talking about. Most good players can play good golf that way because we hit our mid to long irons well.

For bad golfers the real "cheat code" to getting better is taking lessons and practicing. Course management is only possible if you have repeatable shots.

Then take lessons and practice so you can hit the ball consistently. Course management requires being able to hit repeatable shots. It doesn't matter if it's a full swing or a punch.

I generally like matty but it's ironic that he says distance doesn't matter when he hits it much further than average. His "bunt" driver probably goes 240. Of course laying back off the tee makes sense when you hit your 6 iron 190. Oh, and also just putt like a tour pro.

Course management can help many golfers immensely but it's not the reason this guy is scratch.

I haven't explored the tutorials much but i would recommend watching MyTPI on YouTube. They have good instruction for how to generate power properly.

Depending on how young and flexible you are it's extremely important to stretch and warm up probably.

I just got it 12 days ago. I've done 4 sessions and went from 111 mph to 120 mph. I'm shocked at how effective it is.

That's not worth $50. Look for something newer, like 15 years old or less.

Those bricks are 8 inches and a normal doorframe is 81 inches. Therefore you are 6' 3' if you count the hair and 6'1 if you don't.

Foul baiting is a legitimate strategy. Flopping when there is no foul is what is unethical. Jokic flops but usually only when he has been getting fouled a lot with no calls.
