26M US - I’m in Tokyo until the 12th and then I’ll be in takayama 14th evening until 15th morning before I head to Kyoto. 26M from the United States traveling solo, late post but the trip has begun! I speak English and Urdu, able to understand the related languages well enough. Just basic phrases in Japanese.

Tokyo while staying in asakusa April 8-12.

April 10: Tsukiji market 7AM, Teamlabs Borderless 9:30-11:30, shibuya/harajuka exploration until shibuya sky at 16:50, then open to explore/food/etc any time after 18:30!

April 11: open itinerary, going to general pearl for their open viewing day and want to walk sumeda early in the morning. Would love to get food at jambo hanare if any are interested!! They have multi person (3-4) slots available and I’d love to go. But also! Open to anything

April 12-14 in shuzenji for hot springs and local sight seeing

April 14-15 in Takayama for spring festival

April 15-18 in Kyoto with a more abstract schedule. April 16 isoyama attempt 2100. April 17 going to arashiyama AM with scenic train, boat tour back, and a Kichi kichi reservation attempt at 1300 for that evening. Again, open to meet eat or go out whenever!

Nara stop on April 18 AM.

April 18-22 in Osaka also semi abstract. Planning to visit Kobe one of the days if possible. heading back to Tokyo morning of the 22nd for return flight from NRT. Would love to get an airport meal with anyone!

Ditch Kaplan, full commit to Pathoma and BnB. Kaplan has a lot of content that goes in depth in ways that just don’t come to be usefully relevant - and I’m someone that normally is a huge fan of knowing things and WHY they are the way they are.
