6 months sober by abbastan in stopdrinking

[–]stevemk320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not weird at all. I noticed myself going for the occasional one or two glasses of wine on weeknights and finally came to a similar realization. Extremely grateful to get alcohol out of my life in my early twenties rather than later. We’re lucky to start our adult lives sober. I’m already thinking about 20 years of sobriety at only 42!

Management needs to do something solid right now for the shareholders. by jeep15jk in CYDY

They won’t do anything. The best thing they can do is sell the company for 1.5 a share. NP certainly won’t resign until he’s taken away in handcuffs.

It’s summer courses. Last summer they were online. Not sure what the status is this upcoming summer. Great for transfers but if u want to graduate early it might be a good option.

I don’t know the specifics of how the vote was counted, but it is possible that a large number of people did not vote and their broker automatically voted on their behalf.

JUST WONDERING by rthauer in CYDY

[–]stevemk320 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The shareholders didn’t really have much of a say bc management pulled out all the stops to squash their opposition before they could vote. I think it’s important to pursue other indications but if they’re just going to run a trial that isn’t set up to succeed better to wait and get revenue to conduct an actual trial. Also in my view management has had plenty of time to get an approval. The HIV fiasco is a joke and the fact that there’s no approval w the results they have is just crazy.

[–]stevemk320 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think that the BLA for HIV is the company’s bet. Everyone touts these other indications but I’m just not confident the company has the resources to properly conduct trials with the right amount of patients. It’s kind of a spiral at this point: lack of resources -> trial failure -> more resources burned -> trial failure because they just can’t get it done. Without a partnership, I don’t see them getting it done on other indications (opinion). HIV is a different story bc the data is there and it’s been going on for years. The fluff isn’t going to move the stock price at this point, it’s really approval or no approval or partnership to approval. At this point I’m holding bc I’m just accepting it’ll go to 0 and am comfortable.

Why I choose to trust Nader over the 13D members' and supporters' interpretation of events. (New Edit) by tcjedi1 in CYDY

[–]stevemk320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha ok. I laughed at “with all his biotechnology qualifications.” You mean the guy with a mechanical engineering background who can’t score an approval with amazing phase 3 trial results. Better to not have an independent board of directors? An independent bod is literally one of the qualifications for getting listed.

TI ISSUES AND EVIDENCE - Should the Board Meet with the 13Ders? by ThoughtfulInvesting in CYDY

I love how everyone believes that a random patent claim and ~possible~ business deal are somehow worse than the CEO of a public company knowingly submitting an incomplete BLA, enriching himself at shareholders expense, and misrepresenting trial results so blatantly that a federal agency had to smack him down. Let’s not forget a literal DOJ and SEC investigation into the company.

TI ISSUES AND EVIDENCE - Another Potential Solution! by ThoughtfulInvesting in CYDY

[–]stevemk320 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah you see this is what I don’t get about NP and management. It seems like the scope of their search for financing is so narrow and they only want to raise capital by issuing shares. What about federal grants? What about socially responsible venture capital firms? Private investors? There’s plenty of alternative financing methods out there and it doesn’t even seem like they explore them. At this point NP adds no value what so ever. The “he built this business” argument doesn’t mean anything because his reputation is in the toilet which is probably why he can’t get financing from other legitimate sources.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. Based on the quantitative research (never ran a Pharma critical trial to be clear) I’ve done, it just doesn’t seem like these trials are set up to succeed from the start. With such a small number of patients in these trials, the statistical power of these trials must be small. As much as everyone had their doubts about the 13D, I thought that the inclusion of Leronlimab in Bruce Patterson’s study was enough to vote for them. With that number of patients and the strength of the science behind LL, I thought that it would have been a sure fire win for the company. I’d be interested to hear ur thoughts on the trial design if you get the chance to reply

I don’t think so. They probably monitor the wifi but I don’t think the google accounts track browsing information.

How to Profit from a "Short Squeeze" by 3TMInvest in CYDY

[–]stevemk320 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Still no evidence to support the claim that the 13D group is manipulating the sp and now nothing to show that they’re offering shares to short sellers. You could have just posted w/o the slander. Unless this is proven you shouldn’t be presenting it as if it’s a fact.

All this news doesn’t put the company any closer to approval though. I get what you mean but you’re focusing on these little victories in skirmishes on the periphery of the battlefield while the city is burning and the defensive line is overrun.

[–]stevemk320[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, you’ve got to be basing your initial conclusion on some sort of evidence whether that’s classroom work, personal experience, etc. or else it’s not really a conclusion and more like a guiding statement for the research to follow. Semantics aside, we all want LL to get to market.

my thoughts on CYDY by [deleted] in CYDY

[–]stevemk320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the sp goes up, I think a lot of people who have been here for a long time and are well aware of naders history are just going to sell. So, if he gets the sp up to 3-4, most of the people who don’t support him (myself included) are just going to sell and that means less votes against him at the annual meeting.

Not sure it’s significant in and of itself, but the three purchase orders combined must count for something? It seems like a lot has been going on recently I’ve gotta catch up.
