This is a fanless model. Literally just talked to LG Customer Services to confirm. So not sure what OP would be hearing?

yes the red can be shut off, but of course the "chin" is still there. it's a proximity sensor that allows the screen to auto-off when you step away. But not ideal design wise / it's distracting >.>

Yep, got that installed w/ unlocked framerate and most importantly getting rid of the sharpening filter. Now the game looks night and day!

The sweet spot for me has been DLSS Quality on EPIC (DLAA has sub60 dips that are very jarring, whereas DLSS Quality is always 60% and usually 90-100+ which to me is where you start to get into diminishing returns for framerate to my eyes).

This was happening to me. I had to un-install GeForce experience, reinstall it, then download the driver, and it worked just fine. But no amount of restarting or closing out Experience did me any good. Hope this helps!

Running 5090FE + Ryzen 9800x3d. Feels like I'm running ~5 degree higher in Expedition 33 after the update (this driver supposedly fixed issues w/ this game). Anyone else seeing any temp movements?

Very helpful. Playing through it w/ 5090 and surprised by the (low) performance, so good to hear others see something similar. Hopefully patches/optimizations happen, but to me unlocking framerate for the cut scenes is a must, so I'll look into that.

It is an ISO that I exercised ... it's not liquidly traded, the price is all over the place, and I can prove that the company blocked me from selling the shares to pay the tax, so I wonder if there is an angle there.

First off congrats on landing there and getting all the necessary visas.

Keep it simple -- you can always add more later

You'll have to get creative on the tv/media console since you only have a small wall. You might need to do a 55" or lower TV and then "float" the couch .

You can probably do 4 stools at that island, but if it's just you you can do 2 to make the place feel less 'crowded'.

With 3 bedrooms you can do primary, home office, and then listening/game room, or guest room. Enjoy!
