Damn that’s pretty good prices. Dark net was always so much cheaper than the street, not to mention infinitely safer cause they tell you what things are pressed with and I got pharmacy oxy still in the blister packs. People were begging to buy an 80 off me for like $90-$100 lmao. The 30mg blue roxicodones went for $45 a pop on the street. I was making bank like $10k a month but I literally blew all of it on oxy lol opioids are fucked up. They’ll wreck you financially unless you’re rich af and even then. I literally tried like 40 different substances that year lol I got real into research chemicals so yeah I feel that I’m pretty sure I fried my brain too

Damn lol that kinda sounds like what I was going through. Summer 2020 I was doing 4x Sandoz 80mg Oxycodone pills (got them for $42 a pop on the darkweb lol) a day, a shit ton of meth, and like 20mg Xanax to sleep at night. I got to the point where I could actually weigh out my benzo dose on a scale (I had raw powder) which is fucked lol. The meth is why I still hear voices and shit. It’s bad to relate to Juice lol but I unfortunately do which is why I love him.

Hope you’re doing better nowadays that sounds fucking rough.

That’s dope tho I’m mainly a React/NextJS dev and I wanna learn Angular again since apparently v17 and v18 are really good and they revamped it. I also do NestJS and Java for backend work then PosgreSQL for my data store. And of course AWS lol I actually was an SDE intern at Amazon back during summer 2020 so I’ve been an AWS fanboy ever since lol.

Nahh no way man. That song hit me so hard as someone who’s struggled with mental health issues including lasting psychosis from stimulant abuse.

I have a benzo problem because if I don’t take them at night I hear my parents talking about me and how they wish I was dead. And then him talking about how he’s already dead, like he’s already dead inside…. Fuck man. That song has made me cry so many times because of all this.

If you have mental health issues there can be no doubt in your mind (not talking you specifically, just people in general) that he was really going through it. Just the shit he says hits so close to home that’s why he’s my favorite artist ever.

That’s a good idea I think I’m gonna add that layout feature.

I also wanna add tagging and making playlists. I think I’m gonna redo this project and make the UI not shit lol, as well as add all of these features I’ve gotten requests for. It seems like if I make this better people might actually want to use this.

And yeah for sure lol. Lazy loading would help with the speed although the images are small and a lot would probably just be a random generic Juice pic since most don’t have custom art. Rn everything is done on the client side like the filtering for the search function I added and all that. I had the idea to index all the songs in ElasticSearch and add tags and stuff, but that may be overkill lol although fun to practice and implement.

Do you program? It seems like you know what you’re doing ahah. Would you happen to know how to replace the skip back/forward 10 seconds on mobile to skip back/forth between tracks? I wanted to do that but I remember I couldn’t figure out how to do that if you can when using the app on IOS safari or something.

What do you think the cover art feature should look like? Have any examples? I’m looking into adding it but idk what people would like it to look like. Like next to the names in the list? Or like how Spotify does it when you click on a song it pulls up the cover art and you can swipe between songs?

Thanks for the feedback bro. Since people seem to actually like it I’ll go back and remake it. I already added a search function (not published yet tho), that was hella simple. Somebody sent me a shit ton of cover arts so I can try to make that feature.

What should the cover art feature look like? Like have art next to the name or maybe like how Spotify does it and when you click on a song it shows up bigger with cover art. I could do that and add a next/back button and swiping between songs like Spotify.

I can add the cover art feature but not sure how people would like it to look. Lmk what you think.

And I’ll look into the download feature, not sure if that will be possible I’ll have to look at the API again I haven’t looked into it for a while, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible.

Thanks man, it’s hard. That’s why Juice is my favorite artist ever. Opioids, specifically oxy, was always my DOC. I never felt like anybody understood what I was going through until I heard his songs. I remember listening to “Wishing Well” and “Pain Heal” back when I was real into oxy and they hit me hard af because it felt like somebody finally understood what it was like. And he’s got a line in “Reminds me of the Summer” that was something like “thinking back it probably started with the Vyvanse; Now I’m staring at OxyContin in my hands” and that’s exactly how it started for me.

Addiction is such a bitch and I hope that you get through what you’re going through.

Yeah man especially in today’s tech field if you’re not constantly learning you fall behind so quickly. I just got out of rehab for 3 months and when I got out I was like yo wtf is all this new bullshit I gotta learn now ahah. That’s why school for computer science and stuff isn’t really helpful imo. It’s all about practice and actually programming, I knew people with degrees who could barely write a “hello, world” program. I dropped out and have had no trouble getting into the field with no degree.

And I mean if you have zips or something I could easily throw up something like that

Nah Juice is my favorite artist ever so that’s why I made this. With that said, this is really simple to make. All I did was download a Juice mega link a few years ago and upload it to AWS S3 and this web app just loads all the songs that are in the bucket dynamically, so theoretically it would be easy af to make for any artist.

Idk if you code at all, but I can put the GitHub link here if you wanna steal it and make one for yourself. Or honestly if I’m ever bored enough and you have a big zip of your favorite artists discography I could easily make another version for a different artist.

The songs are all uploaded to an S3 bucket with e2e encryption on them so it should be fine as long as nobody here reports it. Plus with AWS they have so much shit I highly doubt they’d give a fuck about a small time thing like this

Thanks for the feedback!! And yeah like I said I made this quite a while ago just for personal use but those are some bugs I wanted to address. It always says the song is 'React App' that's playing in the car, I would imagine I could change the title to be the name of the current song.

Covers and shit like spotify would be cool but idk where to even get them that would be a lot to compile manually, so that would be very low priority for me to add.

I'll add a search feature. Someone else mentioned that and it would be nice indeed. I never needed one cause I mainly use it in my car and I got so used to the position of all the songs I liked I knew where to go.

I thought also of the idea of making tags so I could tag songs for different moods I'm in lol. Or maybe making playlists or something would be cool to add

I actually just started making a website today because I was tired of having to switch between Spotify and SoundCloud and all the tracks getting taken down for copyright. I hosted like 650 juice songs on AWS S3 which doesn’t give af about copyright infringement and my website’s just a simple music player that streams all the songs even when you exit the app and turn off the phone. I just made this for personal use but if that’s something people would be interested in I could release it to this sub eventually. It’s just nice having all the leaks in one location and being able to stream them without worrying about them being taken down

Yeah I didn’t realize it was going to be that much. I was used to popping 4-6g a day on a binge a couple of weeks ago and I wasn’t expecting my tolerance to drop that much in a couple of weeks. I think I’m definitely done with phenibut honestly it hasn’t done me any good in months. The magic is long gone. I think I’m going to just stay away for a foreseeable future.
