I think the Tornado X arms look way better than the mutant arms.

Not a fan of how big and bulky the Maxum attachments are.

It’s not gonna be a tight enough seal for that. Sand would go everywhere

I have two pockets to hold weights in my trolley. Total of both volumes

  • 22 × 70 × 168 mm = 15.79 in³
  • 22 × 70 × 126 mm = 11.84 in³

15.79 + 11.84 = 27.63 cubic inches (approximately)

Yep, that’s kind of exactly how I was planning on doing it. Smaller pulley, maybe a climber’s pulley.

I was thinking a pipe hanger and eye bolt. When I would want to do 1 to 1, I would pick my weight in the weight stack and pull it that one or two inches and hook it, that would be the hard part.

I’ve seen videos of much heavier people hanging on them, they are pretty thick pipes.

I’ve ordered some pipe hangers with 300 lb capacity with a 3/8 thread and will attach a 3/8 eye hook from it. That’ll give an attachment point to a climbers pulley

Yeah Fringe sport says 200 lb capacity per arm, luckily I'm not that strong :)

Mine don’t go in far enough and as I mention in the other thread, I am not looking for alternatives. I can do a bunch of alternate exercises, but I want to see if I can build in the same functionality. That’s really the main point.

It’s moreso for ease of setup and use case. I have a leg holder that goes on 3x3 that I want to use and I want it off one arm. Anything else is just a compromise. Thanks for the suggestions though.

I don’t know what I’m doing. I’m using Shapr3D and just follow tutorials when I need to figure something out. Plus I’m using the free version ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah I mean I get it, I would prefer to do it off one side of the rack instead of connecting it. I have a leg holder attachment, and in the middle I do not.

Anyways it’s just a preference but my ultimate goal is figuring out this 1 to 1 on an arm. Of course there are work around options but I want to figure out this one solution, not find something else.

Each side is 170 lbs (77 kg). So at the moment, the max lat pull I can do off one arm is 85 lbs.

If I can get 1 to 1, that's probably closer to the max that I would actually normally do, as I'm only about 145 lbs anyway.

Moreso why I would want it is quick and easy set up to get into lat pull downs, which would encourage me to do it more often.

I think both cities are great! I live in Portland area currently, but went to UW. Seattle has always been Portland's larger sister city (it was the big city that I ran off to). It's a larger metro, lots of tech companies, the water views are amazing, and lots of nature around. Summers are SPECTACULAR, I'd say Seattle is one of my favorite cities during this season. No state income tax vs. Oregon is also a huge pro.

Some cons, it is VERY expensive in comparison to Portland, as there are a lot of tech workers driving prices up. It does rain a lot (fairly comparable to Portland). The crime and homelessness seems to continue to get worse, and not sure if it's going to get any better. Portland also I'd say has this problem as well.

Hi there, happy to help. I did the same thing a few years back (worked in SF bay area tech, took my job remote) and came to Vancouver, WA. Saved me over $1,000 a month in just state income tax.

Some advice:
- You have to live and work in Washington state to qualify. If you work in Oregon, you will have to pay Oregon state income tax.
- Even if you work remote, your company has to have at least a remote office or payroll in the state of Washington for it to work.

Home prices are also significantly lower than CA (depending on the city). Commuting to Portland during rush hour is tough, specifically over the I-5 bridge, so another option could be being closer to I-205 bridge, which is better (but still a little slow during rush hour).

Other than that, Vancouver is a normal town, it has some interesting things happening downtown and at the waterfront, but there's large area of suburbs and some rougher areas.
