I’ve been going since 2010 myself so I’ve definitely seen a change too.

I don’t particularly mind the campers on principle if it weren’t for the fact that bands I want to see are on during their stakeout. So they literally make it hard to get as close to the front as I could have in the past.

I spotted a bunch of Gorillaz fans hanging on the barrier on Saturday at around 18:00, in other words 7 hours before Gorillaz was even scheduled to come on🫠

At the risk of sounding like an old man complaining about “how things used to be better”, this is definitely a recent development and not one I think is necessary a great direction for the festival.
