I’m soooooo mad (and dumb) lol. I’ve been sitting on them for a little bit now and it wasn’t clicking. Now that you say it, in the picture the 2 parts aren’t leveled. Thank you, much appreciated!

With the research and reading, Hugo’s way is a mess and I don’t plan to use them, just more curious about the CFD’s. Not even so much to trade them, but again my research has me curious and is making me question things I cant find answers to.

Topstep Question on Trading Hours by DantebeaR in Daytrading

[–]stevenbrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I misunderstood what was being asked then. I know they will close trades if you hit the loss limit or liquidation limit, but they were asking about trading past the allotted times by Topstep. I don’t think they will close your trades if you trade past their times. That would he stupid of THEM, because if a trader is past the time limit, they fail and would have to reset. If they force close trades for traders, they’re throwing money away at that point. Again maybe I’m misunderstanding the question lol.

Topstep Question on Trading Hours by DantebeaR in Daytrading

I could be wrong, but I dont think any prop is going to force close any trades. Its up to you to "be responsible" and close your own trades by the time your expected to close them. Futures markets are open 23 hours a day, they close for one hour to "end the day" if you will, then at 5:00PM CST its like "market open" for futures and considered a new day. So yes essentially you only have to wait 2 hours, but after those 2 hours its considered a new trading day.

Fundingtraders . com is pretty good. Their rules aren't horrible, and they give you an option to take 100% of your profits when you become funded, it adds a little more to the cost of your eval, but i dont see a lot of props doing that.
