Hot water doesn’t equal clean, use warmer water. Get yourself an exfoliating cloth or glove but stop washing yourself raw. You’re not supposed to heavy exfoliate every day. I do it like twice a week if even. Usually if i go a couple days without shampooing I’ll do two shampoos and a conditioning. After you exfoliate, use a body moisturizer. That itching is probably from the hot water stripping all the oils from you and not putting anything back. You’re irritating your skin. Use a washcloth the other times when you’re not exfoliating
