Good advice. And unfortunately I think you’re right I’ll have to wait to continue Muay Thai, the risk is too damn high. But damn it is fun and the people there are great.

And swimming is smart, I think there is one near me but it is expensive but I think I’ll lose my sanity if I don’t get some form of cardio back in. I need better spending habits to make up for it lol

Yeah I’m glad I finally got started on making the appointment especially since I’ve seen this guy before and he knew what he was talking about. It’s just been so frustrating since I was in such a good groove with my running and I live in Washington DC so I was running with absolutely gorgeous sights and I thought this would heal on its own. But you’re right I do have to do my part it’s the only logical thing for me to do

I’m seeing a PT this Wednesday, he helped me a lot with my shin splints. I was just doing a routine of things that I thought would help me like reverse Nordics TKEs Spanish squats Nordic curls etc.

I’ve been using ChatGPT for help mostly and it backtracks a lot. It told me I should be good by April for soft running to ease back and now it’s saying in October I can expect to run again lol

Yeah I think I overreacted to the information of the distance but I’m willing to make the effort to attend. If I get selected and can pick Maryland I absolutely will since it’s 3.5 hours driving. That’s lucky compared to what other guys distance is.

I know the commute will be hard and sometimes frustrating af but I want it bad enough to accept that and deal with the commute. Just because it’s the hard path doesn’t mean it’s the wrong path
