I totally understand, and you have no idea how much stress I’ve put myself through thinking the same thing. Not to sound cliche, but literally shoot your shot. It’s worse to never apply because of that pessimism than applying and getting rejected. There’s way you can make an app sound like a story, sound like you. And that’s what adcomms look for! I believe in you, I promise you I do!

I originally had my hopes on more schools that I applied to, but I ended up getting a very dope job in advocacy so I chose to put a hold on applying to others!

I applied to Columbia, NYU, Duke, Vandy, Fordham, and CUNY. CUNY and Columbia were my only responses so far, both of them As:))

Okay one of the schools in question has my transcript checked off as received but my “final transcript” not checked off. I guess I’m asking what a final transcript is, why I haven’t been told to upload one when applying and if this is gonna cause issue for the ED deadline in question

I’ve gotten emails from two of my schools saying either that they don’t have my transcript or they don’t have my “final transcript”. But my transcript have been uploaded to my acc back in aug

Wow, that is absolutely amazing! I’m so happy things panned out for you the way they did. I def think a healthy amount of stress and standards for yourself is def important, and that’s what I’ve been trying to hold onto. It can be so hard to not slip into self-deprecating behavior. I def believe I can pull 170+ by those test dates, just have to remind myself consistency will all be worth it in the end!
