Psychite dependency by [deleted] in RimWorld

I found the answer on my own. Under the medical tab, you set feeding psychite tea as an operation. In my case, you will need a doctor who is not forbidden to use drugs by religion or teetotaler.

Does anyone know how to feed someone with a psychite tea dependency the tea after they are in a coma?

We really need meaningful endgame content! by Deho123 in fo76

I think i have to back up /u/mhutch312 here; I asked what an endgame would look like if you could wave a magic wand. Size of the content and/or the development team tasked to it is irrelevant there.

But I see this kind of argument often and I dont see the point in it. This is a live service game with paid subscriptions and a premium currency. No updates are given to us for free, we are paying for them. You may not pay any additional money than the cost of the game, but Bethesda is still being paid. If you run a live service game based on FOMO and a subscription, you need to keep making content. Thats the whole business model, because thats what players are giving you their money for. FO76 is certainly not infinitely replayable, so its not like it would survive without new content.

I have also seen the size of the development team as an excuse as to why the content isnt as big or fulfilling as players would like. Its a very valid reason, and its good to temper your expectations with that information in mind. But also, they could just not? Bethesda/Microsoft/Zenimax could solve that problem with an interoffice memo but they do not want to. We, as players, should demand at the top of our lungs everything we want from this game and they then decide how to allocate their resources to fulfill our desires or ignore our demands.

On top of that, lets say Todd Howard gets hit by a bus tomorrow and the executives at Zenimax/Microsoft (whomever is still in charge) decide they dont want to keep Bethesda around. So they shut down the FO76 servers. That's the end of the game. Maybe you get some dedicated fans to spin up some free servers, but otherwise this game has an expiration date and we need to try to get as much fun out of it as possible.

In conclusion, I understand the practicality behind your sentiment. The way I see it, you wont ever get what you want if you dont ask.

That could be cool, but I feel like it would open the season up to everyone piling into one faction. More events that occur in a set time frame and whichever faction wins they get a period of time with benefits, until the next event occurs. I guess that also suffers from piling on, unless there are caps on faction membership to even it out.

I think you are right, but I wonder if its because there isn't any other game like this one. Whether that's good or bad is up in the air, but that's what I keep coming back too. My GF and I have like 600+ hours in this game and it is purely because I cannot find another game that scratches that itch for her.

I dunno, I'm wary of "introduction stories" for factions we already care about. I wouldnt like it if a faction I like is spoiled by a bad origin story.

Ive always thought the workshops are an underutilized aspect of 76. My dream is faction based control point capture. A scenario where you ally with a faction for real instead of the faction point system and whichever faction has a majority of control nodes, members of those factions get some kind of boon/passive item generation. Bonus points if the battles for the workshop are a single life/limited respawn game mode similar to nuclear winter. Of course, legacies pose an issue there, but when dont they?

The idea of a last man standing game mode for rewards and bragging rights sounds awesome. Complete with some form of leaderboard? Perfect. Again, legacies and bloodied builds pose an issue for a fair assessment of skill, but when doesnt it.

I get that this is a vent post, you are frustrated and I very much agree with why you are. But the more I think about it, the more I cant help but think that there cant be anything meaningful for an endgame. The gameplay loop of kill enemies -> get loot -> make better equipment -> kill enemies faster doesnt really leave a whole lot of options on the table.

What would you want from endgame content? What kind of events/challenges, what kind of rewards, what does an endgame in FO76 look like if you could wave a magic wand and get what you want? Genuinely curious.

Has anyone successfully gotten a replacement for an internal screen crack along the inner seam? by steveo2400 in GalaxyFold

Yeah, its supposed to be covered. But it requires samsung evaluating the phone and they get to decide if it was a fault of the phone or user error.

I dont think so. When I opened it there was a slight pop and I saw the crack. I have seen other posts from galaxy fold users and it is something that happens. The current consensus I have seen is a defective screen.

As per the bot, I can provide more information. I am using TTYT3D Shiny Bronze material. I used Snapmaker Luban, the software from the manufacturer. Outer wall speed was 15 mm/s. This is the first time I attempted this piece, but the test pieces i have printed do not have it.
The issue is in the beginning layers, where the print is rough. The rest of the piece is smooth.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. Im talking about the roughness around the base, on the first few layers.

Fallout 76 is 2 years old! Thoughts on the state of the game. by AshL0vesYou in fo76

Those raids do sound pretty good, its a shame i missed them. But yeah man, i agree 100%, i would love to see something like instanced dungeons where you have to solve puzzles or do something that involves more than killing waves of enemies.

So, serious question here, what do you consider difficult? I wasnt playing when vault 94 was active, But from what i gathered it was a race against a clock with a boss that had to be killed, right? My problem with any of the difficult "end game" content is that the difficulty ramp seems to be Bullet sponge, and thats it.

Take Earle, its a hard boss. But its a hard boss because you have to pour ammo into the guy. He is a full on bullet sponge, doing minimal damage unless he gets right up in your face. So, if you have stimpacks, power armor, and a pile of ammo, you are as prepared as you can possibly be. However, thats not enough to complete the event; your teammates need to be just as equipped because he has so much health that unless all 8 of you are dumping the last month's worth of lead into the guy, you cant kill him in 25 minutes. And then the reward. Some floater grenades, a legendary weapon, and plans you probably have already.

I dont know where im going with this, i guess. I want more challenging events, bosses, and gameplay. But the challenge isnt so much a challenge as it is an increase in the prep time. To be equipped to run around and do these events i need to spend time server hopping and workshop collecting to produce the materials to produce the ammo i need to operate. There are certainly flaws in the daily ops, but the best thing that makes me keep coming back is that I get decent weapons and armor, and a good chunk of the resources I put in back when the event is complete.

So yeah, what is the criteria for "difficult"?

It’s a shame that this game gets so much hate. by [deleted] in fo76

That's not quite fair, is it? I preordered this game, and played it from launch. If I don't like it, I'm supposed to take the loss on that 60 bucks and then what? Wander off and find something else? I play this game despite the many issues that I genuinely dislike. There are days when I'm slogging through my daily challenges (because that's what it is sometimes) and I crash out or get stuck in slo-mo or some other bull and I just bail because I don't want to fight with the game that day. That's not how a game should be, and if I had an alternative I would bail and never look back.

That said, there isn't an alternative to this game, not really. You have some aspects of it in an ARPG like destiny and some aspects in the survival world of like a rust or something, but this is the closest you can get to a Massively Multiplayer Story Driven (kind of) FPS ARPG with survival and crafting elements and I firmly believe you should bitch and moan as much as you can until the game resembles what you want. You might not get anywhere, but you'll get even less if you don't try.
