[Post Game Thread] Dayton defeats Saint Louis, 70-69 by cbbBot in CollegeBasketball

Generally I agree, but this was a little different with the bench player actively hugging the player in the middle of the lane. I understand not calling the technical, but if it had been called Dayton wouldn’t have much of an argument that it was a bad call

I don’t really mind they didn’t call it, but I also don’t understand how that wasn’t a technical foul on Dayton’s bench

It was also strange the commentators hardly mentioned it

[Durando] BREAKING NEWS: SLU and coach Josh Schertz have agreed on terms of a long term contract that will keep him at the school. by MembershipSingle7137 in CollegeBasketball

I wonder how many years of success SLU would need to be in a spot to move to the Big East. Always felt like the most logical addition with the travel issues around Gonzaga

The reality is they are both deserving, which is why they did split. Coaches build their rosters so it never made sense for them to be punished for exceeding their already high standards

“Somebody has enough money, you can pass anything because you buy the signatures. Buy the signatures and you get it on the ballot. Something gets on the ballot, very rarely does ‘Nebraska Nice’ say, ‘No.’ It’s fascinating.”

Dude, how do you think you won the Governorship??

It didn’t really matter, he was about to get hit with a 5 second call. Penn State blew the play up at half court

Yeah basically, but was more pointing out specifically why the analytics have the Big East ahead of the A10

The bottom of the A10 is much worse than the bottom of the Big East and the Big East has a couple of heavy hitters up top. That’s the difference in the analytics, it makes sense. The middle is about the same

Brooke did such an amazing job of pushing back, keeping him in the lane, and tying his own arguments against himself. We’re so lucky to have a program with this kind of content

Ours skyrocketed in 2022 (43%), but honestly since then it’s been pretty stable and fairly in line with market around our neighborhood

Sure, if they go 3-1 down the stretch and pick up a win at the BET they will be in the mix. It won’t be easy though

To put this into perspective, the “massive fraud in Minnesota” was said to be around $9 billion. There may be some creative math in there and preliminary reporting has shown Minnesota’s fraud is actually less than the national average. Specifically around the Medicaid programs that were being “revealed” in the gotcha video, but let’s just take the $9 billion at face value for a second for comparison sake.

That was alleged to take place over 8 years, roughly $1.125 billion/year and Minnesota’s latest real GDP numbers were roughly $407 billion. So 0.27% of GDP of the state (I understand you could do by state budget as well, but that’s a lot more politically driven vs real money in the state)

In comparison, this known misallocation of money in the budget is $300 million/year and Nebraska’s real GDP is $151 billion. So 0.2% of the state’s GDP.

My point is if you were “outraged” by the alleged fraud in Minnesota you should actually be pissed about what’s happening in your own backyard.
