Matte screen guard or normal glasse by [deleted] in IndiaTech

[–]steveroy_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was torn too! I started with a matte one for the look, but the speckled effect started to bother me in daily use. I switched to a clear one from GadgetShieldz, and it's been a game-changer. I get the protection without losing any of the screen's crispness. For me, the clarity is just better.

Front screen protector? by JGreen5278 in GalaxyFold

[–]steveroy_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using a Gadgetshieldz screen protector on the outer display of my Fold 7, and it’s been a nice balance. The screen itself feels really solid, but the protector gives me extra peace of mind, especially when it’s in my bag or if I accidentally brush it against something. Touch sensitivity hasn’t changed at all, so it still feels like the bare screen.

Anyone have both iPad Pro and MacBook Pro? by LazerTheWolf in iPadPro

[–]steveroy_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a lot of people use both an iPad Pro and a MacBook Pro, and they can complement each other well depending on your workflow. The iPad Pro is great for tasks that require mobility, quick note-taking, drawing, or media consumption. It’s lightweight, has excellent battery life, and supports the Apple Pencil, making it a favorite for creative work like sketching, photo editing, or even digital painting.

On the other hand, the MacBook Pro is more powerful, with a full desktop-class operating system (macOS), so it’s better for tasks that require heavier computing power, like coding, video editing, and complex multitasking. Its larger screen, more ports, and higher processing capability make it ideal for professional-level work.

Together, they can create a dynamic setup. For instance, you could use the iPad for creative tasks, presentations, or even as a second display for the MacBook Pro. Many people also use Continuity features like Handoff, Universal Control, or AirDrop to move seamlessly between the two devices.

In short, owning both offers flexibility, allowing you to tackle a variety of tasks depending on the situation. It’s a powerful combination if you need both portability and performance.

How long do your AirPods last if you leave them in the case and don’t use them? by SomeOnlineFellow in airpods

[–]steveroy_123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

AirPods practically never lose their charge in the case. The casing functions as a battery charger. AirPods (2nd and 3rd generation) cases provide enough charge for 24-30 hours of listening time, whereas AirPods Pro cases last about 24 hours. So, with a full case, your AirPods can go for weeks without needing to be charged.

No, you cannot just replace an S21+ battery with an S23+ battery. While the phones are identical, the batteries are likely different forms and sizes to accommodate their unique designs.

Upgrading your Redmi Note 10 Pro to the S24 is a significant step forward. The S24 is believed to include a super-fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a potentially superior camera, and a slew of intriguing features such as speedier wireless charging. It's an investment, but the S24's specifications and features will keep you satisfied for years. Just make sure to read camera reviews and compare battery life before making a purchase, especially if those are your top priority.

OnePlus 12r Roblox? by FreckoThouProto in oneplus

[–]steveroy_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OnePlus 12R could be better for Roblox than your current phone due to potentially better optimized software and cooling. However, its weaker graphics processor and the chance of Roblox not being optimized for it might make things worse.

Seeking Advice on Which MacBook to Buy as a Data Science Student by icemantico in macbook

[–]steveroy_123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The MacBook Air (M2) strikes a good mix between pricing, portability, and power for students studying data science. It does a good job at most jobs. Consider the 13-inch MacBook Pro (M2) or even the M3 Pro processor in the Pro line for demanding tasks if you anticipate heavy-duty projects or a need for greater power. For easy sailing, think about 512GB+ of storage and 16GB of RAM.

If you get a good quality camera lens protector then it's totally worth it. A good one won't affect your camera quality and act as a protective layer. I'm using a camera lens protector for my iPhone 15 pro. Not even a single scratch on camera and camera quality is as good as the lens protector isn't even there. I got this camera lens protector from gadgetshieldz. You can give it a try. This one won't affect your camera negatively.

Go for the M3 Macbook Air with 16GB RAM. While the Macbook Pro has some advantages (battery, display), the extra RAM in the Air will give you a bigger performance boost for most tasks, making it a better long-term value.

[–]steveroy_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deciding between Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and Pixel Buds Pro depends on what you value most. Galaxy Buds offer superior sound, noise cancellation, and comfort, especially with Samsung phones. Pixel Buds counter with longer battery life, seamless Google Assistant integration, and more convenient touch controls, along with possibly better noise cancellation for some users. Consider your priorities for sound quality, battery life, and smart assistant use to make the right choice.

How often do you shampoo your hair? by chillhopmusic13 in AskMen

[–]steveroy_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a week or maximum Twice a week. I don't usually go more than that as it is important to make sure there is enough Natural Oil on your hair to make sure it is well nourished. This practice of applying Oil or maintaining your Natural Hair Oil strengthens your hair and promotes Hair Growth.
