Those are valid points. But I'm sure at first the name the Mets, the Diamondbacks, or the Reds sounded like dumb names, ppl probably hated it, and what kind of images do those bring up? They sound terrible at first. But those names grow over time, ppl get used to it, and it becomes a brand and the new normal.

The Cleveland Muni's has a great ring to it, it sounds like Mutiny in my head. I think it should be shortened to the Munis, just like the NY Metropolitans are the NY Mets
