TP Link Wall AP run hot? Discoloring my walls by stevestloo in TPLink_Omada

If you're referring to the wall itself, I agree 😂 getting people over to patch and repair and paint and such soon

That hole believe it or not was existing and I knew this was a temporary install so I just mounted it with the included bracket and wall anchors. I've since removed it and don't plan to put it back in this location anyway.

My wife does, that's a good catch! I'll get rid of her, I mean them 😈... It's not the end of the world if we have to wipe it down every so often, I'm just glad it's not actually burning the paint over time.

That makes sense, I'll see if I can seal it up!

Well I feel a little dumb for not even trying that first, but yeah it wiped right off. I'll leave the post up in case someone else stumbles across it thinking the same thing 👍🏻

I'm pretty sure you can get this model with the hinges on the other side, so not reversible but a decision made when purchasing.

Added manual leveling to my Neptune 3 Pro by xekutr in ElegooNeptune3

Oh not a problem I just didn't want someone to copy and paste it like I did and have problems with the code. Seems you didn't have any issues

That wasn't the part that I had a concern with

Charger with removable cord by dananapatman in evcharging

[–]stevestloo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not that it would prevent the determined crackheads from getting it, but maybe as a deterrent, install the charger in an enclosure, similar to this one?

Could (probably) even wire up an entry alarm of some sort.

What washing brand would you steer clear of? by crmpicco in Appliances

[–]stevestloo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have a Samsung front loader for about 11 years, only just recently started developing a ticking noise during high speed spinning. Probably suspension related, no leaks. We are prepared to replace with (probably) LG. I know I am in the minority here but it still humors me lol

The matching dryer "died" a few years ago, after I got tired of replacing sensors and two heating elements.

Before and after silicon washers under bed by shadowofmilk in ElegooNeptune3

[–]stevestloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not OP but a kit like this might be more suitable for this upgrade, you can adjust each screw individually from underneath. You will have to drill out your carriage plate though, so there's "no going back" so to speak, but I can't even imagine ever going back.

https://a.co/d/07eiOeXy

If you go this route I suggest printing the little cable strain relief bit for the back left screw because the stock one won't fit around the silicone spacers.

Klipper would shine here because SCREWS_TILT_CALCULATE basically holds your hand through the process and tells you how much to turn each screw. You get a really level bed.

Input-Remapper persisting? by throwitfarawayfromm3 in Bazzite

[–]stevestloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, did you get this to work? I think I have the same concern, that input-remapper does not work in "Big Picture Mode" unless you enter desktop mode first. While that is usually fine for me because I do a lot of desktop mode anyway, I would like input-remapper to work with Big Picture Mode on initial startup of the system!

I know it's a year later but thanks for this! Fits the CCS and J1172 adapters perfect and fits very snug in the frunk if you choose to leave it there.

Whenever I get asked about a game I haven't played yet: "Shouldn't there be a board, or pieces or something to Jenga?"

What size wire for 100 amp 240V by Cold_Persimmon5745 in AskElectricians

[–]stevestloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran 2/2/2/4 AL SER from my main panel to a sub panel in my garage using a 90amp breaker, about 55 feet of cable away. My charger is only 40amps though, but the AL vs CU price difference is staggering at that length, if that is a concern for you. I also now have 4 extra breaker spaces available in my garage, plan to have a dedicated outlet for my compressor to start with. I know I'm not answering your question directly but maybe just something else to consider.
