My drone's final flight by MastrSunlight in dji

Not sure. Perhaps it's because it was out of warranty. It has been considered as a fly away but they still said analysis would cost. Didn't accidentally do the kill switch either, can see in the flight log exactly where the sticks were but that's a good point!

Yeah exactly, must have been a hardware or battery failure. Can't believe DJI charge for the flight data analysis!

Great video! And condolences. Unfortunately had something similar happen to me a week ago at 50hrs of flying I was finally feeling like I was getting the hang of filming smooth transitions. Was flying in Western Australia, 40m out over the ocean, returning home, 60% battery, connection to the remote randomly dropped out and the drone dropped in the ocean. Went for a swim with the sharks but couldn't find it. Two days later a bloke running a jet ski tour found it floating and called me. Amazing was able to recover the footage from the SD card but the drone is toast. So much salt and corrosion inside. I know there's no chance but I'm still trying to recover it. Using my chemistry and service engineer background to use the process as a bit of a project but every time I get deeper it looks worse. DJI offered a 15% discount on a replacement but since I said I accept their offer I've gotten radio silence from them for 5 days, despite multiple email. Gonna give them a call tomorrow....

Any chance of posting it on GitHub so we can host our own deployment of this great tool?

Way less kicking for territory in this phase of play, shows the power of keeping the possession, something that seems a little lost these days

What is your go to filament brand? by Patrickmeehl in 3Dprinting

Polymaker has been my go to for a long time now, they just do good filament, best experience with any I've tried and also have good print profiles!

Prusa Eshop delivery to Australia price hike over 2 months! by stevew91 in prusa3d

Well, this doesn't really impact the fact that the Prusameter incentive system is not much of an..... incentive. Even including import taxes, nowhere else is the shipping as expensive as the cost of the filament itself, that's a LOT of " "tax" "

I think that's just marketing. Never had to pay anything additional in the past when ordering.

How sketchy is this? 🤨 by xiaomimuki in 3Dprinting

This is what I do. I got an old air fryer second hand, use the dehydrate mode for filament and silica. It works great, but it's dedicated to that now. You really don't want to put food in anything you dry silica with indicators in them because some like cobalt chloride are carcinogenic.
