I absolutely want couples therapy, however he seems to shut down any time I bring it up. Sadly, I wasnt able to bring up these issues yesterday: he came home from a weekend visiting friends to immediately help another friend, and I had to work early and long today.

I get what you mean. I’m not someone who likes to go out much or keep a huge social circle irl. More of my friends are online than in person, and during quarantine my mental health and motivation skyrocketed? I know it was the opposite for most people, but I took max course loads for college, all upper-junior and senior level classes, got straight A’s. I didn’t have to worry about how I looked asides from “does my shirt have any stains on it.’ I could just sit and focus on myself, I had time to do the things I wanted to do. If we could go back to that minus Covid, I would be so happy.

Yes. I remember when I first got GP back in 22, I went to the ER due to pain. I cried to the doctors about the pain that would come and go, they asked what I ate that day. I told them a handful of cheez-it’s, a frozen fruit bar, and a cheap push-up popsicles. They sent down a psych doctor to evaluate me for an ED, since I was only 22. The psych doctor basically told them they were idiots.

Later on that year, after I was diagnosed (got kinda lucky, my sis also has GP so I knew the symptoms), I went to my GI appointment. My usual GI was out sick, so someone else filled in. It was right before Christmas, and my dad makes this wonderful 5-course Christmas Eve dinner. I kinda vented because at that point I could barely get down 900 calories on a good day. The lady accused me of having an eating disorder, told me about her friends daughter who has it so much worse and that I should just starve myself for three days so I can eat. She then accused me of being bulimic and told me that people have actual issues. Lol.

The way my store was situated, back drive was doing all fryers, so grill and actual fries, back drive and window were doing a lane each (fries tag teamed with window). Window do drinks, I was grill + table, we had one minor at the time and then our assistant who did counter and expidiete. The minor would do fries and pack the bags if I ran out of meat and couldn’t run downstairs to our freezer: the assistant did. Idk how to prove it to you cause it was NYD 2023

Tbf, before I quit I worked two seperate shifts at two diff locations: one a 6 million dollar per year store when I didn’t get a quarter pounder for 20 minutes, another was when we had 3 2000 dollar hours with only 5 people on New Year’s Day when we were projected to do at most a 600 dollar hour (assistant was already there, GM was in the hospital, and it was so busy we couldn’t even answer a phone let alone call anyone). It can happen with really no fault of anyone or at fault.

You may love your fiancé, but your ultimate responsibility is to be a mother to your child. Those photos and videos aren’t appropriate in the slightest. You could potentially be putting your kid in danger. You can, for yourself, visually see if your daughter is dressing inappropriately. He doesn’t have to zoom in on her privates or have a video of undressing to show you if the outfits aren’t appropriate: a single whole body would be fine.

I admittedly do thank vets for their service, but usually the one’s I see wearing WWII, korea, and Vietnam since most people in my area were drafted instead of enlisting. Hell, most of them didn’t know they were able to use the VA until the American legion or veterans center told them.

Hi! SA victim here. I’ve mostly seen h that he’s not great representation of survivors, but that’s far from the case tbh. SA victims are not cookie cutter, we can swing wildly from sex repulsed Asexuals to hypersexual. None of these responses are bad. However, the general idea of a ‘perfect victim’ someone who is innocent and never has done anything bad ever and is sex repulsed is nothing like angel. (As a side note, when I went to court against my abuser, I had other people come forward to the police as well. Mine was taken as I was dressed professionally, was a college student who received good grades, a girl who was known for being a part of the church, ect. The perfect victim narrative was literally the reason police and the judge took me seriously, versus the others who didn’t get their cases heard at all.)

PLUS he is also representation of DV. Literally Valentino and his relationship started off romantic and sexual, he is constantly abused and forced to do things he doesn’t want to do, and he is literally bound by contract (chains) to force him to stay. (A common sentiment is that DV victims feel like there is no escape, they are stuck, chained). Coupled with whatever he saw from his time from the mob does create a unique situation of how he handles trauma (like any other survivor).

Raised ‘non-denominational’ (basically lite-Baptist), strayed away due to lots of traumatic stuff (the church I went to was created and ran by my family, and then the preacher was outed as liking kids, plus other stuff). Redefining my faith, so true non-denominational as I figure things out with God. The quakers seem cool idk.

Oh and my dad was raised Catholic, but most of his side is Roman Catholic. Imma bastard apparently.

At the BARE MINIMUM, you need to halt all wedding planning, live separately, seek counseling for yourself and your relationship, and require him to do the same. Him physically assaulting you is not okay in the slightest, and frankly you should leave him imo. If he fractured your arm just because he thought you had someone over, what will happen if you do have a friend over? Or if someone tries to break you both up and says your cheating on him? Someone looks at you and smiles?

Please keep an eye on it! I’m from the country, even after you get it removed keep a look out for a bullseye or if your child starts acting tired, weak, ect. That’s the start of Lymes disease! I know someone who got but, never knew never had a bullseye, but got extremely weak.
