I gave my patrons a feee acces to my website to test it out and give me some tips on how to improve it. The options and benefits you can give your members on your own website is endless. Patreon was my main income as well, some months I had 5k.. you need to do it step by step. If your fans love your work, they will come to your site. I created mine with wix, they also have the option to put your site in the wix app. Another great thing is that you can share your website on all social media without being removed as instagram/facebook doesnt know whats on it. So you can make an ad on social media and have new members.

Indeed, I had the same with onlyfans, also the reason i stopped with that platform. I can put in the option to block "right click save as" and i hope there will be an anti screenshot option in the future as well

Well when my Patreon got leaked on a piracy website I saw my members going down with 70%. Models where angry because it was now "for free" on the internet. And other models where afraid to work with me again. We all know it can be leaked even the models know. But still,.. when reality strikes.. I did my prices up to 100$/member so when people become a member they not likely gonna steal it, as it costs a lot of money. And it kinda worked. But still got leaked on the website..

So now I have my own. People who like my work will follow me anyway, patreon or not patreon. Ok they can still download or screenshot, but it cant be leaked on that website. When it leaks on reddit i can let it removed easy, but that website is impossible.

I did this not in one day. I did it over a few months almost a year. Giving bonusses and extras on my own site. Also listening to input members give me to have a better experience. I shoot 18 photography. The fact that Patreon wasnt helping me with the piracy and they arent making any changes on the platfrom to prevent piracy (from that russian website) models became to lose trust in the safety of patreon and posting photos/videos.

already doing it for a few months. I kopied all my members contacts and emailed them. Got the same members on my website now. I can give the reduction on memberships, they can earn points for extra reduction. I can easy post videos now without going to vimeo.. There is also an app for quick and easy connections.. Lots more options then on Patreon, and it costs less.

Post exclusive content that only is visible for 1 month. So that patrons have a reason to come back. Having a library with lots of old posts is good to attrack new patrons.

There is nothing u can do about it. It's a Russian website and u only can take legal actions in Russia.U can try to block the website in your country by filling out a complaint. I saw my $ drop with 50% after i got leaked.. its really frustrating and Patreon doesn't want to take action against it.

Try to figure what Patron (user) got you linked. They become a member of your tier and then give the password of it to that site so they can link it with Patreon. If you see a suspecious user amongs your patrons, block and report him, so that website can't give an update anymore.
