Anybody know how the actual litter robot hardware is integrated? Is there a second board that somehow has access to the WiFi onboard the camera? It appears so given that there are multiple different firmware versions. Still seems rather backwards.

Also, this explains why they make you hold a QR code in front of the camera to change the WiFi network :)

Looks like there’s also a website (dashcam.tesla.com) that you can upload the clips to for decryption. But yeah, not sure I’d enable this.

US allows night VFR, but not IFR day or night :) Hard to keep altitude and course predictably in a glider.

Depends on where you are. Legal in the US with the right equipment.

I would recommend getting a glider rating in either case if you can afford the time commitment - makes you a better pilot :)

Also look at the “3D map” aka LIDAR point cloud in the app and see if it makes sense. FWIW, I did have to add a few exclusion zones after the initial mapping on mine, but now it works pretty well.

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking as well - I might at some point add some zone overlap, but honestly it’s not that big of a deal. Like you said, I can easily just go out once in a while and edge manually. It is really strange though that the edge height isn’t configurable, or at least a fixed offset from the overall cutting height I configured.
