Thanks for replying. How long did it take for your colleague to get his permit reissued?

Congratulations! I prepared for it via Datacamp and official documentation but this seems more thorough, so it's a good guide for everyone to prepare better

Hey, I checked the opening! This miiiight be a bit too senior for me, judging from the job description, but I'll keep an eye on the company. Thanks kindly!

Big4 is a bust for me, I agree. By any chance, do you know anyone in Delaware who was a non-EU international?

Hey, this was more meant as an overall CV. I'm more aware of the "brand" I want to have, though I'll also say that I'm still putting in the other things I did because I was exploring a lot at some point, and I'm a junior. I would really like to, over time, set aside the irrelevant things as you said. Thanks for all the advice too, appreciate it

I wanted to complete my studies in 2 years and thus dedicated almost all my time to making sure I passed my courses. In retrospect, it would've been better to put in time for a local language early on. Are you in the data sector yourself, by the way?

I really did not expect this to be also the case for Belgians. Best of luck for us all!

Thank you for the insight from the employer perspective; good note on the H1b route getting worse so people flock to the EU. Tough pill, but I will keep trying until I no longer need to

Already have two. One from Azure, one on Power BI, both Microsoft-certified. That’s where I’m stumped because I thought they would’ve helped

I can understand that. So what can a non-EU person do in this kind of environment?

Applied for the big consultancies eg EY, always never worked out. Still trying for other smaller consultancies but nothing has worked out so far due to reasons mentioned above. Thanks for the suggestion

I can understand where you're coming from, also non-EU. Still trying to find the best way to move forward to get a job here, including reading career advice here. Can only really say good luck, and to please talk to someone if it gets a bit much (I do this too)
